I take this opportunity to express my gratitude to the city of Barton for giving an
opportunity to present my proposal on the Helping Hands Reach community center. This
proposal is designed to offer a community center for kids of all ages and their parents to be in a
position to learn together and communicate better. This is the era whereby technology is making
learning easier and more fun for the children of today. The center is dedicated to enhancing the
physical, cognitive, and social-emotional development of the children that join it. The center as
well offers babysitting and child care services, including early opportunities. The center provides
care for infants and toddlers up to 2 years of age. But for preschooler’s ages 3 to 5 years and for
school-age children who may need care before and/or after school and on other days when
school is closed.
Age group 1 – infants
The infant room has activities to enhance the child’s eye-hand movement. The room will
be decorated with colors very attractive to the yes and decorations that will catch the attention of
the baby. The parent will engage in the activity of using various kinds of toys to play with the
infant. The toys are designed and aimed to teach the child different skills such as touch sound
and sight. The child will be in a position to observe carefully their mothers activity and imitate
them. This setting is structured to promote positive interaction between the child and the mother.
And it does not only enhance interaction, but also the child will be able to see how other children
and their mothers interact. Daily activities played in this room are games such as patty-cake and
peek-a-boo. Patty cake is teaching the child more than you think. The game helps the child to
develop language skills. Peek-a-boo, on the other hand, excites the infant’s senses, shapes gross

1.0Introduction
This paper sets to present the positive role of games and child play in preschool education. Early childhood is an elemental and crucial stage in a child`s life with regards to the child`s intellectual development, physical growth and social development. Notably, this period lasts for about six years into childhood. . This stage entails the growth of a child`s mental and physical capabilities. Therefore, at this stage, a child is in dire need of high quality care and learning processes. Hence, this crucial responsibility calls for preschool education. Preschool education is influential in the development of the imaginational capabilities of a child before attaining the edge of formal education. In preschool education, a child is provided with unlimited scenarios, space, props and the necessary support and guidance. This process is better aided through child play and games. Child play and games provide practical learning approaches hence aiding in the intellectual development of the child. Moreover, the games provide a fun experience and social fulfillment when they interact with other children (Squire and Jenkins, 2003). Therefore, child play and games impacts positively on a child`s social and creativity building a process nurtured by preschool education. Thus, games and child play are crucial components in preschool education.
This project research presents the research findings and report in three sections.

By nature children are playful and their earliest explorations and learning experiences through senses are achieved by various games and child plays. JSHS held various activities in August 2021 including class presentations for grades 9, 10 and 12 to encourage students to express opinions. Grade 10 students passed their CBSE board exams with excellent results. Younger students from grades 1, 4, 5, 6 and 7 gave presentations on topics like natural resources, the solar system, inventions, health and career counselling. Older students participated in a youth leadership summit and webinars on cyber security. Cultural events like poetry recitations and Raksha Bandhan were also celebrated.

- LKG students gave an IT presentation on different cities in India, believing experiential learning is best.
- A recognition day and class presentation was held virtually for pre-primary students to enjoy poetry.

Linear Measurements: Instruments used. Linear Measurement by Tape, Ranging out Survey Lines and overcoming Obstructions; Measurements on sloping ground; Tape corrections, conventional symbols. Angular Measurements: Instruments used; Introduction to Compass Surveying, Bearings and Longitude & Latitude of a Line, Introduction to total station.
Levelling: Instrument used Object of levelling, Methods of levelling in brief, and Contour maps.

- 3. Deep Breathing This is one of the most effective brain training exercise. In this exercise, kids imagine feeling their breath travelling in different areas of their body. They begin by breathing in through their nose and then releasing air through the nose too. This is infact a continuous process and this exercise can help improve memory and emotional control.
- 4. Motor Coordination There are actually number of brain body exercises that helps to improve the motor co-ordination of your kids. These mainly includes toe wiggling, various hand performances such as eating, writing, etc. Learning musical instruments such as keyboard, piano is also considered to be one of the most effective ways of Motor Co-ordination.
- 5. Concentration Games Kids can be shown a number of objects that are placed on a table. After half an hour, when the kids are in a different place, they can be asked to recollect all the objects that were placed on the table. Parents can take a photo image of the objects and store in their smart device for future reference - or as proof!
- 6. Playing Family Games Having good time with family and playing games also improves the brain and concentration level of your child. Family card games like Uno, Hearts, Go Fish and Speed and board games like Monopoly, Chess and Checkers help kids to improve on their problem solving, co-ordination and planning skills.
- 7. Playing Online Games A number of free as well as paid online games that is available which mainly includes hand-eye coordination games, logic games and memory games. By playing the right games, kids can enhance their memory retention and problem solving skills.
- 8. Knowledge Sharing with Kids Most importantly, parents need to regularly communicate with their kids and try to understand their various problems and difficulties from their side. This will help kids to communicate on any topics. This is important always for a better communication purpose and would love to spend quality time with their parents.
