Jay Give the intro on relation between media and implementation of death sentences…
Jay Explain it Media effects the mind of people on implementation of death sentences Whenever govt doesn’t give the death punishment media start blaming the govt and people starts creating bad thoughts for the government. Government actually does the right thing by going through all the laws but media doesn’t understands it and like a selfish industry do such thing which creates negative image of government in people’s mind. Now let me tell you two examples i.ekasab and Afzal guru
Ajamalamirkasab we all know who is he right ?? He was the only attacker captured alive by police in 2008 Mumbai attacks. Second is mohammad Afzal guru most of didn’t know him untill the news came that he was hanged. He was the main culprit in the attack of 2001 parliament attack.
Let me tell you something about kasabJust read it and explain it Now we will discuss the effects of death sentence on people because of media and now onwards my frnd harsh will continue ------------------------end of jay part and start of harsh ---------------------------------
Positive effect Before the kasab was sentenced to death on 3 may 2010 media has already created the negative image of kasab in people mind. People have started thinking him as an evil who has created terror in their country. Which was true. People started hating him and were pleading for death penalty on him. Negative effect While the government was working on the case of Kasab media was showing such shows on their channels which actually started protest against government by people of country. People started saying that government is doing nothing. Government is just wasting time. This created negative image of government in people mind. This was all done by media to earn TRP>
Positive effect After kasab was hanged to death media influenced people by showing such shows which expressed that the bad has vanished. People started celebrating in many parts of country and started praising the government. Negative Effect As people started celebrating media came up with new thing to increase their TRP. It was that government finally hanged kasab so that they can use this point as an advantage in Gujarat assembly election against the opposition part. This again gave negative effect of government to the people.
the media was always showing that kasab is terrorist, evil and he should be hanged to death. I would say yea that kasab should be hanged to death !! but we shoul not celebrate like we did. Media created such image of kasab death that people started enjoying but the fact is kasab was not the real root. Kasab was just a boy who was taught since his childhood to kill people. We are taught by our parents since our childhood that what is good and what is bad? But kasab since his childhood was taught such things which were good for him but bad for people. So kasab is hanged as per the law and I would say that yea he should be punished but we should not be happy that terrorism is dead. This was not shown by media because its true !! Because people will oppose it.
Positive effectAs the same case of kasab, media created an evil image of Afzal guru in the mind of people. People started hating him and were protesting for his death. Negative effect As the government was going through the rules, media has started creating negative image of government on people’s mind. People started protesting against government.
Positive effect media started praising the government that they hanged him so people like fools started celebrating and cheering up the government. Negative effect – After he was hanged to death, news came up in media that Afzal guru family gave a statement that they were not allowed to meet Afzal before his death. This point was raised by media and started showing that government should have allowed to meet Afzal to his family. Media also started showing rash behavior towards government that they are cruel and all . This again created negative image of government in the people’s mind. I would like to say did Afzal guru asked 17 people who were brutally murdered to go and meet their family ?? Media should raise this question but they didn’t as it wont earn them TRP as much as regression against government does.
