Four projects are highlighted that use mobile applications and universal generated content to document cultural events and public art in African cities and assess their impact on urban safety. The projects are coordinated by SUPSI to create a mobile interface that shares information on cultural heritage, safety and security, and tourist pathways in Douala, Cameroon.
