 ICT stands for Information Communication Technology.
 The phrase, ICT was coined by Stevenson in his 1997
report to the UK government and promoted by the new
National Curriculum documents for the UK in 2000.

4. What is the meaning of ICT?
 ICT refers to Technologies that provide acces to information through
telecommunications. It is similar to Information Technology, but focuses
primarily on communication technologies.

 ICT covers all the technologies used for the handling and communication
of information and their use.
 ICT covers any product that will store, retrieve, manipulate, transmit or
receive information electronically in a digital form. For example, personal
computers, digital television, emai, robots.

receipt of digital data. Importantly, it is also concerned with the way these

 ICT is the Information an Communication Technology. ICT in
Education means Teaching and Learning with ICT. Educational ICT
tools can be divided into 3 categories: Input source, Output source
and Others.

10. Why is ICT Important for me?
 ICT is Important because all new things that are added are possible by
ICT for example: App (Whatsapp), Chat ( Messenger or Facebook),
Snapchat, Twitter etc. You can easily communicate. Also because of the
work that my Father does.
