National Agricultural Innovation Project (NAIP), ICAR and the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) organized a two day workshop on ‘Impact of capacity building programs under NAIP’ on June 6-7, 2014 at AP Shinde Auditorium, NASC Complex, Pusa, New Delhi. The main purpose of the workshop was to present and discuss the findings of the impact evaluation study on capacity building programs under NAIP by IFPRI. The scientists from ICAR and agricultural universities were sent abroad to receive training in specialized research techniques. Post-training, scientists were expected to work on collaborative projects within the ICAR, which would further enrich their knowledge and skills, expand their research network and stimulate them’ to improve their productivity, creativity and quality of their research. The ICAR commissioned with IFPRI (International Food Policy Research Institute) to undertake an evaluation of these capacity building programs under NAIP in July 2012. The workshop shared the findings on the impact of capacity building programs under NAIP and evolve strategies for future capacity building programs

The goal is to strengthen district management and ultimately improve service delivery. Key activities include national workshops to analyze problems, develop strategies, and compare results, as well as ongoing support from in-country research teams. Evaluation focuses on changes in workforce performance and health systems during and after implementing the management strengthening intervention.

Learners educational paradigm preferences
A doctoral dissertation employed a critical pragmatic research paradigm and a transformative mixed methods methodology to explore what educational paradigm most empowers leaners to acquire higher levels of emergent technology integration for learning on demand. Participants included 12 graduate-level students from two Master of Education courses at one online North American institute during one four-month term. A Paradigm Shift Framework (Wark, 2018) was designed to generate quantitative questionnaires and qualitative interviews for capturing participants’ paradigmatic preferences and perceived levels of integration mastery with 16 emergent educational technologies throughout the term. This paper identifies two possible factors for why, collectively, respondents in Course A moderately increased their preference for a behavioural paradigm, while Course B respondents significantly increased their preference for a perceptual paradigm by the end of the term. The first factor is respondents’ conception of the term, emergent technology, and the second is the practice of mindfulness.

The ability to collect, manipulate, analyze, and act on vast amounts of data presents a potentially powerful opportunity for educational researchers. The explosive growth of interest in data analysis in turn has been driven by research into online education, by scholars with access to data at an unprecedented scale, and by government, social services and non-profits leveraging data for social good. This emerging discipline of data science relies on a novel mix of mathematical and statistical modeling, computational thinking and methods, data representation and management, and domain expertise.

This study examines the profound emotional, psychological, and professional impacts on students engaged in pro-Palestine protests, focusing on Generation Z's (Gen-Z) activism dynamics. This paper explores the significant sacrifices made by these students and even the professors supporting the pro-Palestine movement, with a focus on recent global movements. Through an in-depth analysis of printed and electronic media, the study examines the impacts of these sacrifices on the academic and personal lives of those involved. The paper highlights examples from various universities, demonstrating student activism's long-term and short-term effects, including disciplinary actions, social backlash, and career implications. The researchers also explore the broader implications of student sacrifices. The findings reveal that these sacrifices are driven by a profound commitment to justice and human rights, and are influenced by the increasing availability of information, peer interactions, and personal convictions. The study also discusses the broader implications of this activism, comparing it to historical precedents and assessing its potential to influence policy and public opinion. The emotional and psychological toll on student activists is significant, but their sense of purpose and community support mitigates some of these challenges. However, the researchers call for acknowledging the broader Impact of these sacrifices on the future global movement of FreePalestine.
