This paper compares the performance of two IPv6 transition mechanisms: BD-SIIT and DSTM. The authors implemented BD-SIIT and DSTM in a simulation to evaluate their throughput, end-to-end delay, and round-trip time using various packet sizes. The results showed that DSTM performed better than BD-SIIT when using large IPv6 packets, with lower delay and higher throughput.

The demand for internet applications has increased rapidly. Providing quality of service (QoS) requirements for varied internet application is a challenging task. One important factor that is significantly affected on the QoS service is the transport layer. The transport layer provides end-to-end data transmission across a network. Currently, the most common transport protocols used by internet application are TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) and UDP (User Datagram Protocol). Also, there are recent transport protocols such as DCCP (data congestion control protocol), SCTP (stream congestion transmission protocol), and TFRC (TCP-friendly rate control), which are in the standardization process of Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF). In this paper, we evaluate the performance of UDP, DCCP, SCTP and TFRC protocols for different traffic flows: data transmission, video traffic, and VOIP in wired networks. The performance criteria used for this evaluation include throughput, end to end delay, and packet loss rate. Well-known network simulator NS-2 used to implement the UDP, DCCP, SCTP, and TFRC protocols performance comparison. Based on the simulation results, the performance throughput of SCTP and TFRC is better than UDP. Moreover, DCCP performance is superior SCTP and TFRC in term of end-to-end delay.

Mobile Ad-hoc networks are categorized by multi-hop wireless connectivity and numbers of nodes are connecting each other through wireless network. It includes several routing protocols specifically designed for ad-hoc routing. The most widely used ad hoc routing protocols are Ad-hoc On Demand Distance Vector (AODV), Destination Sequence Distance Vector (DSDV), and Dynamic Source Routing (DSR). In this paper, we present an analysis of DSR protocol and propose our algorithm to improve the performance of DSR protocol by using small delay applied on last route ACK path when an original route fails in Mobile Ad Hoc networks. Past researchers the MANET have focused on simulation study by varying network parameters, such as network size, number of nodes. The simulation results shows that the M-DSR protocol
having some excellent performance Metrics then other protocols. We have taken different performance parameters over the comparison of Modified -DSR with other three protocols in mobility as well as Nonmobility scenario up to 300 nodes in MANETs using NS2 simulator. To achieve this goal DSR is modified by using modified algorithm technique in order to load balancing, to avoid congestion and lower packet
delivery.

In this paper, we have analyzed the performance characteristics of OFDM data transmission with regard to a new high speed RS decoding algorithm. The various characteristics identified are mainly speed and accuracy of the transmission irrespective of channel behaviour. We consider two cases viz. data transmission without error control and data transmission with error control. Each of these cases are duly analyzed and it is proven that high speed RS decoding algorithms can actually benefit OFDM data transmission for advanced communication systems only if implemented at the hardware (VLSI) level because of significant processing overhead involved in software based implementation even though the algorithm may have lower computational complexity.

ENSURING QOS GUARANTEES IN A HYBRID OCS/OBS NETWORK
The bursting aggregation assembly in edge nodes is one of the key technologies in OBS (Optical Burst Switching) network, which has a direct impact on flow characteristics and packet loss rate. An optical burst assembly technique supporting QoS is presented through this paper, which can automatically adjust the threshold along with the increasing and decreasing volume of business, reduce the operational burst, and generate corresponding BDP (Burst Data Packet) and BCP (Burst Control Packet). In addition to the burst aggregation technique a packet recovery technique by restoration method is also described. The data packet loss due to the physical optical link failure is not currently included in the QoS descriptions. This link failure is also a severe problem which reduces the data throughput of the transmitter node. A mechanism for data recovery from this link failure is vital for guaranteeing the QoS demanded by each user. In this paper, we have analyzed the performance characteristics of OFDM data transmission with regard to a new high speed RS decoding algorithm. The various characteristics identified are mainly speed and accuracy of the transmission irrespective of channel behaviour. We consider two cases viz. data transmission without error control and data transmission with error control. Each of these cases are duly analyzed and it is proven that high speed RS decoding algorithms can actually benefit OFDM data transmission for advanced communication systems only if implemented at the hardware (VLSI) level because of significant processing overhead involved in software based implementation even though the algorithm may have lower computational complexity.

Abstract
IPv6 is the next generation internet protocol which will eventually replace IPv4, but till then both the protocols need to coexist for a long time.
The main issue is of compatibility; both the protocols are not compatible with each other. A different set of routing protocols is required for IPv4
and IPv6. These protocols have different performances for different scenarios. Routing is a very challenging task especially in case of wireless
networks. In this paper the performance is evaluated for different routing protocols like RIP, RIPng, OSPFv2 and OSPFv3 for IPv4 and IPv6
networks over Mobile Adhoc Networks. Simulations are carried out on Exata Cyber 1.1 Simulator. The performance of networks is measured on
the basis of following parameters: throughput, end-to-end delay, jitter and packet delivery ratio with varying packet sizes of 256, 512, 1024 and
2058 bytes.

ANALYSIS OF IPV6 TRANSITION TECHNOLOGIES
Currently IPv6 is extremely popular with companies, organizations and Internet service providers (ISP)
due to the limitations of IPv4. In order to prevent an abrupt change from IPv4 to IPv6, three mechanisms
will be used to provide a smooth transition from IPv4 to IPv6 with minimum effect on the network. These
mechanisms are Dual-Stack, Tunnel and Translation. This research will shed the light on IPv4 and IPv6
and assess the automatic and manual transition strategies of the IPv6 by comparing their performances in
order to show how the transition strategy affects network behaviour. The experiment will be executed using
OPNET Modeler that simulates a network containing a Wide Area Network (WAN) , a Local Area Network
(LAN), hosts and servers. The results will be presented in graphs and tables, with further explanation. The
experiment will use different measurements such as throughput, latency (delay), queuing delay, and TCP
delay.

This Dissertation explores the particular circumstances of Mirzapur, a region located in the
core of India. Mirzapur, with its varied terrains and abundant biodiversity, offers an optimal
environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in
these patterns indicate shifts in economic and social conditions. Monitoring such changes with the
help of Advanced technologies like Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems is

Two IPv4 and IPv6 addresses are assumed to be globally unique. 2.Only IPv4 addresses are assumed to be globally unique . 3.It Uses two types of global IP addresses that are assigned by DNS46 server for each communication system. 3. Uses only a pool of IPv4 addresses in order to assign Global IPv4 address for each communication system. 4.Applicable for Bi-Directional common between IPv6 only nodes and IPv4 nodes. 4.Not applicable to IPv6 only nodes that want to communicate with IPv4 only node. 5.Less cost 5.High Cost 6.Does not require upgrading or extra software to be used at end user nodes. 6.Requires modifications or extra software to support the dual stack on the end user nodes. 7.Transition from IPv4 to IPv6 and Vice versa is needed. 7.Encapsulation and Decapsulation methods are needed.
