This document summarizes key findings from a study conducted by IBM on organizational mobility strategies and practices. The study was comprised of an online survey of over 600 respondents and 30 interviews. It found that leading organizations see mobility as fundamentally changing how business is done. These leaders have seen measurable returns from mobile initiatives and place greater importance on supporting employee productivity through mobile capabilities like monitoring and collaboration tools. To drive productivity, many leaders embrace bring-your-own-device policies and provide necessary training and support for employees using mobile devices. While data analysis remains a challenge for many, the most effective organizations have truly focused on applying analytics to gain insights from mobile data.
