I Wandered Lonely As A Cloud Essay
Crafting an essay on the topic "I Wandered Lonely As A Cloud" can be both challenging and
rewarding. On the one hand, the poem by William Wordsworth is a timeless piece of literature
that has inspired countless readers with its vivid imagery and profound emotions. On the other
hand, the challenge lies in doing justice to the intricacies of the poem and capturing its essence
within the confines of an essay.
The poem itself is a delicate interplay of nature, emotions, and the human experience. Analyzing
its various elements requires a keen understanding of literary devices, symbolism, and the
historical context in which Wordsworth wrote. Furthermore, delving into the poet's intentions
and the impact of the Romantic era adds layers of complexity to the task.
One must navigate through the delicate balance of personal interpretation and scholarly analysis.
Exploring the themes of solitude, nature's beauty, and the transcendent power of imagination
involves threading the needle between subjective appreciation and objective examination.
Expressing one's thoughts in a coherent and engaging manner becomes crucial to convey the
profound impact of the poem.
Moreover, the challenge lies in avoiding common pitfalls such as overly simplistic interpretations
or the risk of veering off into tangential discussions. Striking the right balance between depth of
analysis and clarity of expression is key.
In conclusion, tackling an essay on "I Wandered Lonely As A Cloud" demands a thoughtful and
meticulous approach. It is an opportunity to explore the nuances of a literary masterpiece and
convey its significance to the reader. While challenging, the process can be immensely rewarding
as it allows for a deeper appreciation of both the poem and the art of literary analysis.

Kurt Lewin ( 1947 ) Divides The Change Process
SECTION ONE
Answer 1.
Kurt Lewin (1947) divides the change process into 3 steps. Unfreezing, Changing
and Freezing. It is a very simple and practical model for understanding the change
process. It is widely used and is a basis for many change models. He widely stages
them as follows:
a)Creating the perception that change is needed.
b)Moving towards the new desired level of behaviour.
c)Solidifying the new behaviour as the norm.
UNFREEZING
Unfreezing raises an initial awareness of the need for change. It is the first step in
the change process. As many people will resist change the goal during unfreezing is
to create awareness as to how the current level is hindering the organization in some
way. Old behaviour, ways of thinking, procedures and process followed, Human
resource, Organisation structure must be carefully examined to clarify the people in
the organization the need for change to maintain competitive advantage. The
Proprietor needs to convince his people the logic behind change and how it will be
beneficial at Individual and Organisational level. Besides Lewin states that people
should be motivated to accept change
As an owner of Pink Donkey catering Ltd who wants to open his own restaurant and
bring major change in the way business is done, I would emphasise on Unfreezing as
a first step in change management process. I would convince them the urgency and
necessity for change, as catering business we were able to reach limited customers

concept development. However, it does not include technology licensing, corporate
venturing and innovationmanagement. Thus, since firms want to grow by
developing new products, they invest in R D. Beginning with the incentives of R D

support so many programs are allocating R D grants and reducing loans. Research and

Companies like Apple and Samsung have many employees that work in Research and
Development. It s because those companies completes in their market by first
developing and then realizing devices that are better and more appealing than ones
created by competitors. More specific example is the R D investment in a
construction industry in Australia. In 2008 the combined value of site based
residential, non residential and engineering constriction was AUD160 billion. With
the R D investment, this has growth to AUD201 billion in 2012 2013. While the
forecast value of AUD203 billion in 2015 2016 reflecting current global and domestic
challenges. The construction industry includes three major sectors: residential
building; non residential building such as commercial premises or educational and
recreational facilities; and engineering construction including transport, electrical and
water infrastructure facilities.
Companies like Cargill who provides food, agriculture, financial and industrial
products and services to the world, and has grown to become one of the largest,
privately owned businesses, began in undertaking completely new R D projects.
Their Costumers turn to Cargill not only for the company s scientific expertise but
also for its improving process efficiencies. Cargill s goal is to leverage its research
and development capabilities to generate distinctive value through new, improved
products and innovate ways to reduce costs. Relying on that,

The Glass-Steagall Act
Financial historians have disputed the rational for reforming the banking system in
the US as a result of the 1920s banking crisis. Calomiris (2010) argue that there may
have been political self interest incentives as to why the Glass Steagall Act was
enacted. Firstly Steagall had bargaining power as Chairman of the banking committee
in the House of Representatives. Second, the Pecora Hearings populist politicians
including Henry Steagall advocated in favour of small banks contributing in making

Dylan Thomas

Alcoholic, neurotic, and adulterous: one would never expect these traits to be
present in one of the most influential Welsh poet in literary history. Born in October
27, 1914 in Swansea, Wales, Dylan s father was a local English professor and his
mother a seamstress. David Thomas would read Shakespeare to Dylan in his early
youth, consequently, sparking Dylan s interest in poems and other rhythmic ballads
of W.B. Yeats and Edgar Allan Poe. Being enraptured by literature, Dylan neglected
his studies later dropping out to become a reporter at the South Wales Daily Post.

He got into a marriage filled with affairs and scandals. He got treatment for serious
mental and physical issues due to alcoholism yet he drank himself to sleep every
night. His actions seems to have directly imprinted onto his poetic works. They go
mad they shall be sane and Split all ends up they shan t crack . The blending of the
unreal with reality emphasises the two sided nature of death. How can a man go
mad, but still keep his sanity? How can a split object not crack? Death is not really
the cease of existence of a person, but really just the physical decomposition of the
body itself. In Dylan Thomas case, his body has already been slowly Twisting on
racks when sinews give way, Strapped to a wheel, yet they shall not break . This is
similar to the theme in Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night . Thomas asserts
that he will not face death with open arms and will go down fighting to his last
breath. The spirit is like a memory that lives on in those one has influenced. The
spirit of Dylan Thomas would only crack when people have completely abandoned
him, however, the split ends are kept together in history forever. Lovers be lost love
shall not . The subtle difference in usage of love creates a vastly different
interpretation of this paradox. Although physical lovers would be separated, the
emotional bond would last. The direct contradiction serves as an extended metaphor
of death s inability to cease all memory

This is extensively elaborated in the article Teaching Research Methods for Doctoral

Defying the laws of society has been around for centuries, for it is human nature to

committing a crime is considered immoral and an infringement of human decency,
there are underlying causes for the atrocity. Between addiction, drugs, pressure, and
desperation, there are many outer influences as to why someone would commit a
crime. Some causes can turn any ordinary person into an offender, while others are
hard wired into the brain. It isn t always possible to tell, or prevent a future criminal

Stealing was a last resort, but when presented with the opportunity, he welcomed it.
His instinct to survive and feed his family is the catalyst in the incident, and
ultimately, his punishment. Desperation can cause ordinary people to commit a
crime, no matter how miniscule. Curtis is a small example of the idea that crime
rises in areas of poverty, and proves money is essential for survival necessities, It is
not rocket science to understand when poverty and despair deepens, crime will rise

more immediate the urge is to survive, meaning the more likely an illegality will be

these duties fall short, humans resort to stealing, and other crimes. When desperation

In high crime areas, poverty and desperation is a main factor, but peer pressure is a

This analysis is set to discuss a letter written by Gordon Adams. He is a student at
Arizona State University and wants to become a lawyer. However, he finds he must
take mathematics courses, specifically college algebra, to graduate and move on into
law school. He claims that he does not need to take college algebrabecause he does
not needit in his profession and because if he takes the course, it will delay him into
law school. We follow him through his endeavor with ASU s mathematics committee
to try to waive his requirement for college algebra. However, he fails at this task and,
with every argument, you can t always get what you want in return. Rhetorically, I
think his argument to the committee is a good way to write an argument, at least in
my opinion. He asks the questionWhy do I need college algebra? (Adams 19). I can
relate to this as many of us in today s society are in college and we look at our
degree requirements and think Why do I have to take this class to ourselves. In
Adams case he only has the benefit of a ninth grade education. (Adams 18). It is
clear that he needs algebra, but he tries to exempt himself from this requirement. He
contacts friends that are attorneys and they say that there are no courses in his
profession that even require algebra or more specifically, college algebra (20).
Adams writes I consulted Mr. Jim of the Justice College and presented this question
to him. He referred to the current ASU catalog and delineated the

This is the idea that is demonstrated by Snapchat. Users can send photos or video

snap is deleted. Many users praise the efficiency of the app and the effortless
communication style it brings. Snapchat was started in 2012 by Evan Spiegel, Bobby

Our Social Lives Remo Analysis

the truth to their daily lives. Social media allows the individual to post a picture,

By treating this model briefly, I do not mean to imply that the tradeoff between
incentives and insurance is irrelevant, only that it is not nearly as central as it was
once deemed. In describing this and subsequent models, I omit some assumptions,
derivations, and results; Prendergast (forthcoming) offers thorough introductions to
many of these models. Consider an agent who takes an unobservable action a to
produce output y. For example, the production function might be linear, y = a + s,
where s is a noise term. The principal owns the output but contracts to share it with
the agent by paying a wage w contingent on output. For example, the wage contract
might be linear, w = s + by,where the intercept s is the salary and the slope b is the
bonus rate. The agent s payoff is w c(a), the realized wage minus the disutility of
action c(a). The principal s payoff is y w, the realized output net of wages. The key
idea in this model is that the agent is risk averse. (The principal may be as well.) A
higher bonus rate b thus creates stronger incentives for the agent, but also imposes
more risk on the agent. The extreme case of b = 0 offers the agent full insurance but
creates no incentives; the other extreme, b = 1, gives the agent full title to the output
y but offers the agent no insurance at all. The efficient bonus rate is between zero and
one, depending on factors such

Sleep Deprivation In Newborns
During our coursework over these past few weeks, we have learned a lot about a
newborns characteristics and their development. One of the things that Lola

slowly begin to stretch out as they learn to use their arms and legs. Sleep deprivation
is common among many new mothers because babies simply cannot sleep throughout
the night. According to WebMD, Newborns need to eat surpasses their need to sleep.
Babies who are breastfeed tend to eat every two hours during the first few months. As

The Breakdown Of The Atomic Energy Act Of 1946
The Atomic Energy Act of 1946 was the spark of the nation s most radical law
relating to production, patents and control of information in response to this
glooming energy crisis. Public safety becomes the main written priority in the
development of the Atomic Energy Act. However, flaws began to emerge within the
plan: inconsistencies disturb the private patent investors. This puts the nation s
economic stability at risk. There were possible emergences of monopolistic power
struggles for unique nuclear reactor models and resources. Foiled by their original
public interest objective, their secrecy led to possible questions about the Act2. Due
to massive rise of concerns about the future of the United States, the government

TACKLING CURRENT ACCOUNT DEFICIT IN INDIA Causes and cures of CAD
Deficit in current account depends on many factors and it can be cure. There are
measures which can correct the problem of CAD.
Fiscal deficit When there is huge development expenditure by the government,
demand of domestic goods as well as demand of imported goods increases and
causes deficit.6 So by reducing the fiscal deficit, CAD can be improved. They have
a positive relation. For instance in the following graph, as the fiscal account deficit is
increasing in the US, it has led to a current account deficit.7
Figure 1
Inflation in the domestic country can led to increase in imports of essential goods.
Essentially imports become more desirable in case of and make exports less desirable
because of the increase in the price of domestically produced goods. This drives the

Autism Dnp Intervention
Implications/ Contributions towards health care policy
This will achieve the goal of primary prevention which will still be preventing
disease based on vaccination and will also prevent the possible role of neuro
inflammation that has been hypothesized as a contributor to the development of
autism. This intervention could be studied long term and identify if staggering the
vaccines increase autism or decreased the incidence. It will also begin to decrease the
humongous cost associated with treatment of children that are diagnosed with autism.
For every child that does not develop autism, this is one family that has been spared

It is a developmental disorder that was once rare but now very common. Although
several schools of thought have indicated that the rise in this number is based of
improved diagnostics, but there is still no evidence to support that. Others indicate
that an environmental component may play a role and the only huge environ
mental change is the rise in the number of vaccination that children received and
the year that children were receiving 2 3 or more vaccination at once. Vaccines by
themselves are partially killed or attenuated viruses. Have we wondered what
cumulative effect may occur in the lives of these babies with cumulative effects of
partially killed viruses in the body of very young babies that have not developed any
immunity to fight off disease. At this time, there is no cure and even after diagnosis
the prognosis of the child resuming normal function is poor. Why don t we do
something that has the potential to pre emptively prevent it from occurring at least in
some select individuals? Only then can we begin to reverse this silent epidermin that

Armenian Genocide Causes
What caused the Armenian Genocide? There were many reasons that could be tied to
why the Armenian Genocide happened, but there is no reason bigger than the fact
that the Turkish Government was unsatisfied with the religious state of the
Armenians. The Armenians had established their national religion as Christianity
unlike Turkey who was mostly Muslim. The main group that enforced this was called
the Young Turks. The Young Turks were a group that had taken control of Turkey.
According to the United Human Rights Council, [The Turkish Government]
exploited the religious, cultural, economic and political differences between Turks
and Armenians so that the average Turk came to regard Armenians as strangers
among them. It started with the Armenians... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The Turks gave Christian Armenians the brand of Infidels. The Turks favored the
Turkish peasants so much more than Armenians that Armenians were turned into
pariahs or outcasts. According to Rachel Beecroft, Although Armenians were allowed
the freedom to practice their faith, mass persecution of Armenian citizens was a
regular occurrence and Armenians were often scapegoated for the Ottoman Empire s
problems. The Turks continually put on anti Armenian demonstrations (Beecroft).
Armenian Christians were not given as many rights as Muslims in the Ottoman
Empire, but they still succeeded in the Ottoman Empire. The Young Turks also put
together killing squads called Special Organizations These killing squads were put in
place to carry out the liquidation of Christian elements. Christian Armenian children
were also kidnapped and converted to Islam. After the children were converted to
Islam, they were given to Turkish families. Muslim families moved into the homes of
deported Armenians and seized their property ( Armenian Genocide
Protecting The Rights Of Minority Groups
Democratic societies are often faced with the issue of having to find a balance
between the preservation of liberty rights, and protecting human rights and promoting
equality. As a liberal society, we must protect the liberty right to freedom of
expression; however, being a liberal society also means that there ought to be a
responsibility to protect vulnerable minorities from being harmed by hate speech. As
a result of competing rights, the state often faces the difficult task of determining
when one right trumps the other. In this essay, I will discuss and defend the reasons
why we must restrict certain types of hate speech the kind that assaults our dignity,
and is harmful. Moreover, I will discuss and defend why we must protect the rights
of minority groups, and how doing so can contribute to the greater good of society.
To protect the rights of minority groups, governments must use hate speech laws to
shield them from harms, such as verbal violations and assaults to their dignity,
based on their gender, race, disability or religious affiliations. Harm is caused when
hate speech produces a sense of fear, humiliation, and a belief that one is unwanted
in the community. While people possess the right to freedom of thought, the right to
be sovereign in determining their own beliefs and conclusions, as well as the
freedom to hate a particular group, minorities should also have the right to be
protected and free of harm caused by certain types of hate speech, and the
The Owner Of The Restaurant
Before leaving home for Rutgers, I was a fry cook at a burger restaurant. The usual
pace was slightly overwhelming and all my co workers had 2+ years of experience
with the company. One night, about two months after I started working there, it
was so incredibly busy that the line of customers measured out the door. As I
frantically tossed food into hot grease, I fumbled with a box of jalapeГ±o poppers
and dropped all of them on the floor. The cashiers, general manager and head cook
all rolled their eyes at me and shuffled past the mess. As I started to pick them up to
throw them away, I noticed someone else s hand helping. I looked up inquisitively
and found Ralph Flannery s eyes, the owner of the restaurant, who owned a
handful of the same restaurant chain in several other locations. After we cleaned
up, he asked me to go to his office when things calmed down. I went to his office
expecting to turn in my name tag. Ralph looked calm and cheery, which put me at
a wearisome ease. He started by explaining how cheap and worthless a box of
jalapeГ±o poppers were to him. Then Ralph transitioned to how expensive but
valuable his employees were and finished by personalizing it with how important I
am to him and his company s success. I was left speechless because this was a new
experience to me. I sat there curious about what he had to say next. He said to me,
Jacob, what if I invest in you? Would you invest in me? How about I give you a fifty
cent raise right now... I
Double Standards In Oscar Wilde s An Ideal Husband
Oscar Wilde s An Ideal Husband focuses on the timeless issue of public perception
of public figures, the tendency to idealize those in the public eye, and to turn on
those who make mistakes. Much of the plot could conceivably occur within modern
American politics. Like those of Wilde s 1890s London, modern politicians must
contend with pitfalls associated with morality, corruption, and invasive media
coverage. The American public holds politicians to a higher moral standard than
they hold themselves. They will accept sin in themselves, but find it intolerable it
in elected officials. Wilde shows this double standard. Lord Goring warns Sir
Robert that [...] in England a man who can t talk morality twice a week to a large,
popular, immoral audience is quite over as a serious... Show more content on

Sir Robert Chiltern tells his wife, ...Gertrude, public and private life are different
things. They have different laws, and move on different lines (44). In Sir Robert s
opinion, it is fine if a person acts differently behind closed doors than in public as
long as the private behavior remains unknown. Sir Robert has excellent public
morals and receives praise for his character. However, his past private decisions
show morals based on power and money. It is possible that most people would
agree with Lady Chiltern s response to Sir Robert contending, they should both
represent man at his highest. I see no difference between them (44). When a public
figure s private mistakes become public, people quickly demand an apology or a
resignation. Multiple politicians have resigned after publicized affairs. These affairs
are personal family matters but the official feels pressure to leave office due to the
loss of public trust. This forced resignation seems ironic, due to the high rate of
adultery in the country. Wilde presents these private versus public moral decisions of

The Pros and Cons of Tutoring Franchises
The tutoring industry is ballooning, expected to exceed $102 billion in 2018. It s a
great way for adults of all abilities and interests to not only earn money running their
own businesses, but to make a difference in the lives of children and adults looking to
improve their studying habits, understand complicated classes, and raise their grades.
In North America alone, new franchise opportunities are popping up daily, giving
these interested individuals a variety of tools designed to grow both their businesses
and the studies of their customers. Just like any other venture, though, there are both
advantages and disadvantages to purchasing a franchise of a larger parent company.

Symptoms Of Synesthesia
Synesthesia is when any two or more senses of the human body or perceptual
pathways are linked. When one sense is activated so is another. So when you are

you may think of a shape. It affects 1 out of 2,000 peopled believed to be genetic, it
is demonstrated more commonly in females and individuals who are left handed.
Synesthesia is not diagnosed as a disease, those affected usually have average

there are many types of synesthesia, the symptoms may not be the same for every

s argument is that music, specifically Prince s, had the ability to pull her through all

She wants the audience to feel as innocent as she did in the beginning, as shameful

By doing so, readers can vividly imagine what she looks like and feel more

The career of being a Fashion Designer ?
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a fashion designer? Hopefully
this will help you. The question is what exactly is a fashion designer. A Fashion

fashion designer is a great need in the world. We as humans need clothes for every

While there may be hundreds of different traditions and rituals that take place during

most it is more than just a contract. It is not only a celebration of a bride and groom,

The Establishment and Rise of the Jesuits Essay
At the turn of the 1500 s, the Society of Jesus, also known as the Jesuits, began. It s
founder, Ignatius Loyola, created this society very distinct from other orders, in its
fanatical obedience to the pope, and requirement of education to be a practitioner in
the Society. The Jesuits played a large role in counter reformation, specifically
Protestantism. The Catholic Church used the Jesuits to reclaim many of the souls
lost to the heresies that abounded during that age. The Jesuits continue to serve the
Church today, especially the Pope, and despite the accusation towards them, they
remain a catholic organization. Loyola designed the society to be a secular
representation of Jesus, taking vows of poverty and obedience, and creating... Show

The more Ignatius learned about Saints, the more he desired to imitate their lives.
His first yearning after healing was to visit the Jerusalem and the rest of Judea. His
first stop however was Barcelona. There Ignatius proceeded to the Benedictine
Shrine of Our Lady of Montserrat, where his conversion really sank in. He left his
sword and knife at the altar and began his life as simple man, giving away all his
clothes.
Continuing on his Journey to Barcelona, Ignatius stopped in a nearby cave to gain
strength for a few days. However Ignatius lingered in this cave outside of Manresa
for ten months. During this time he created the Spiritual Exercises while devoting
his life to prayer, and work for the needy. He gained a new life view during this
time, coming to focus his life on God and finding Him in all things. Ignatius also
suffered through many penances, which left him in his later years with a
problematic stomach. This affected the future rules for his monasteries, for he later
did not require any penances. Finally arriving in Barcelona, Ignatius met Pope
Adrian VI asked permission to visit the Holy Land. Because of the danger, Ignatius
was denied consent. By then Ignatius had developed a new plan: He would become
a priest. Because of lack of education in Latin, Ignatius stayed in Barcelona to learn
Latin, begging his way through those years for food and shelter. He also gained much
notoriety for his lectures on the Gospels. The Spanish

The goal of the study is to provide overall financial statement overview of The Boeing
Company using the knowledge obtained during the Financial Management course.
The main question of the study is how financially well the company is at the moment
and what investment expectation it generates on the market nowdays.
The Boeing Company background
The company was originally founded by William Boeing on July 15, 1916, as The
Pacific Aero Products Company . Two years later it was renamed into The Boeing
Company , on May 9, 1917. Since that date the company grew and acquired a lot of

Reasons:
In comparison to 2008, sales in 2010 increased by $3381 million.
In comparison to 2008, CGS in 2010 increased only by $1513 million.
Boeing s 2010 Gross Profit Margin ratio is comparable with the industry norm of
19,7%.
ROA ratio indicates the efficiency with which management has used its available
resources to generate income. In 2009 there was a decrease in ROA value, but ROA
in 2010 matches the industry average. That means that assets in 2010 were used
efficiently.
ROS ratio indicates the profitability generated from revenue and hence is an
important measure of operating performance. In 2010 return on sales reached the
highest value of 5,14%. This indicates that the earning power of the business
improved in 2010, but it s still below the earning capacity of an average firm in the
industry. Reasons for increase:
In comparison to 2008, operational income in 2010 increased by $983 million. In
comparison to 2008, sales in 2010 increased by $3381 million.
The decline in ROA, ROS, Gross Profit Margin and OIRI in 2009 was caused by
the decline in Net Income from $2676 to $1312. In 2009 the company to write off
$2.7 billion because it considers the first three Dreamliners built unsellable and
suitable only for flight tests. These expenses could be found in income Statement as
R D expenses. R D increased in 2009 by $2738 million in comparison to 2008 and

Some of the Benefits of Vaccination Essays
The Benefits of Vaccination Vaccinations are one of the single most important things
one can do for the health of their children. Although, it has been a subject of recent
controversy, the benefits of being vaccinated far outweigh not being vaccinated.
Instead of taking medical advice from an actress, or buying into the conspiracy
theories that suggest the government is using immunizations in an attempt to poison
the population, parents need to spend a little time doing some research on the matter.
Vaccinations were developed to preserve human life. If popular opinion concerning
immunizations changes, countless illnesses, hospitalizations and even deaths will be
prevented. If they do not, we are going to see a spike in needless childhood... Show

Prior to those days, children often came down with infectious diseases, and many
of them died. For example, outbreaks of smallpox wreaked havoc upon the towns
and villages it visited, claiming the lives of millions (Young, n.d. para. 5). People
also tended to live in crowded conditions and drank contaminated water, often
polluted with human waste. Unfortunately, in those days people were unaware of
germs and their link to contagious illnesses. With primitive treatments, such as
bloodletting, and leaches and without knowledge of immunizations, antibiotics, or
even hand washing, many succumbed to terrible illness. Children in 17th century
England died of diphtheria, pertussis (whooping cough), measles, smallpox,
mumps, rubella, polio, haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib), pneumococcal
infection and dysentery caused by rotavirus. Today, we immunize children against
each of those ailments, except for smallpox and polio. In 1970, smallpox was
declared eradicated. Polio, however, is limited to a handful of countries in the
world mainly India, a few countries in the Middle East, and some parts of Africa
(Young, n.d. para. 10). Each year, there are about 1,000 cases of polio being
diagnosed. Frighteningly, the bacteria that cause all of these serious conditions are
still around today. These illnesses could begin to reappear in our society if contracted
by those who are not immunized. Currently, there are 23 shots that babies are
Was Lizzie Borden A Serial Killer
Lizzie Borden is a very known serial killer but not by killing plenty of people, but
only killing her father and stepВmother. Along with her time period, the late 1800 s,
it was very unknown for women to be killers and were seen as the weaker sex ,
which is also one of the reasons why Mrs. Borden was so popular for this case. But
how do you get away with a murder of your parents?
Lizzie Borden was born on July 19th, 1860 in Fall River, Massachusetts. First born,
Emma Borden, was very prepared at age of 6 to have a baby sister (Alice) and
teach her how to love and would protect her from anything. Unfortunately, Alice died
at the age of 2 from hydrocephalus, which is water in the brain. On Emma s 9th
birthday, she was even more prepared to take ... Show more content on

Suddenly, as Emma and Lizzie were in the early 30 s, they grew very resentful
towards Abby and moods started changing. Abby always tried being a loving mother
and tried teaching them courtesy and more, but the girls just wouldn t take it.
Lizzie did not make friends easily but to her, she didn t really need manyНѕ all she
needed was her sister who promised her birthВmother she would watch after her and
she has. Many witnesses and others have thought that Sarah had a bipolar disorder
which is very generic and can be passed down by family members. Sarah also had fits
of anger which is also genetic like anger issues.
Emma , for a year and a half, left to go to Wheaton Female Seminary and was very
nervous that this absence was going to cause Abby to take over poor little Lizzie.
August 3, a day before the murder of Abby and Andrew, Lizzie was found at a
drugstore and unsuccessfully tried buying a poison. During this, Emma was out of
town and Abby was in a finished argument with Andrew.
August 4, 1892, Andrew and Abby Borden found dead, one on the couch and the
City Cell Vs Plant Cell Essay
There are many different ways in which a cell can be compared to something else.
You can compare a cell to a factory, a school, or even a city. When comparing a cell
to a city each organelle acts as different part of the city. One example of an
organelle comparing to a part of a city is the cell membrane. The cell membrane can
be compared to the boundaries of a city. Just like how the cell membrane keeps all of
the organelles inside, the boundaries of a city determine what is or is not within city
limits. In a city the most important building is the city hall. This is where all city s
governmentofficials work. City hall is very much like the nucleus in a cell. The
nucleus holds and protects all the cell s genetic information just like how city hall
holds all the records... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Just like the ribosomes factory workers are responsible for building and producing
items that the city needs. Next is the endoplasmic reticulum which is what
molecules inside the cell travel along. This obviously compares to the roads which
people in a city travel along to get from place to place. In a plant cell there is a
reservoir that stores water for that it might need later. City s need to store water too
and to do this they use water towers. These two are almost exact because they both
only have one responsibility which is to just store water for later usage. Now
although their are many other organelles in a cell these are just a few that can
relate well to the different parts of a city. Cells are a huge part of biology and even
though we just compare them to different things in a city just to get a better
understanding of what they do, a cell itself really is just like one tiny city inside
our bodies. Because without every organelles doing its job we wouldn t be able to
function the way we do. And the same is with a city in real life. If every part of the
city isn t running smoothly then it just wouldn t be able to work
Comparing City Life with Countryside Life Essays
Way of life differs when people live in different places. No doubt that people lifestyle
will be influenced by the society and surrounding environment where they live in.
City life and countryside life are obviously very different in several ways, such as
population, environment, and utilities. First, citylife and countryside life are different
from population. In big cities there are many people who live there, because job
opportunities are abundant and the opportunity of better education. In fact, people
live in urban areas because they want to have good jobs to get more money, and one
of the best ways to achieve that is education. Nowadays, there are a lot of good
universities and college that are totally located in... Show more content on

These absences of stressors can have a great effect on the overall quality of life
and as one researcher notes, People who are living in rural and low density
populated areas are less likely to have mental health problems than those living in
urban areas and may also less likely to be exposed to depression cases or mental
illness once they have recovered from these in more densely populated areas
(Combs, 2006). Third, city and countryside are different in term of services. In big
cities people are modern; they use much more modern technology, feel safe under
the protection of security, and many other services that make their live much
easier such as transportation and health care. First of all, people use modern
technology such as computers, cell phones and internet. Second of all, the
government provides security in various ways to protect people. Third of all, city
transportations are developed well, people can travel easily, and they are many
ways of transportation they can choose to travel with, such as cars, metros, ships,
and plans . Finally, big cities are not only big modern cities originally but also a face
of a country, so government always supports the best ways and medical services for
people. For example, if a country is suffered by a spreading virus such as the swine
flu, of
International Expansion And Vertical Integration
Introduction
International Expansion is a process by which regional economies, societies, and
cultures have become integrated through a global spanning network of
communication and trade (Lou,1999). An expansion strategy is an action plan
usually adopted to acquire better and bigger growth with respect to its previously
attained standard(Business Jargons,2017). The rationale behind expansion could be
higher Profit margins, gaining competitive advantage, expanding domains. Based on
rationale, expansion strategies can be classified in various forms which are :

Expansion through Internationalization (Business Jargons, 2017)
When an organisation switches its market from domestic to global usually for
monetary gains or to gain a competitive advantage for its products.

This study would not only define how Tata motors(indian multinational) and IKEA
s(European MNC) expansion strategy could be classified and generalized into the
above stated categories, but also how contrasting or similar their expansion strategies
were, these expansions may seem to be tempting cecause of high profits and
economies of scale but in practice it is immensely complex. It is important to
understand why these Firms did expand, though companies internationally have
experienced many benefits, turning them into potential global leaders in their
respective sectors, the intricacy of the international business also brings a lot of risk
with it.
Tata Motors
TATA motors has been a pioneer in indian automobile sector for more than the 60
years, established in 1945 ,today it is valued at over USD 40 Billion. The company
now has its presence in almost every continent around the globe ,in about 175
countries. It currently caters to 3 market segments The passenger cars, Utility vehicles
and commercial vehicles
Lisa Zunshine s Theory Of Mind
Lisa Zunshine establishes through her theory Theory of Mind and Experimental
Representations of Fictional Consciousness the readiness of human cognitive abilities
to read physical behaviour as indicative of mental states. Although seemingly
automatic, mind reading abilities are not always correct. Readers interpretation of
physical cues stem from personal thoughts and beliefs and dominate narratorial
voices that skew intended meaning. Zunshine s Theory of Mindexplores behavioural
interpretation in Virginia Woolf s Mrs. Dalloway character Septimus Warren Smith.
The novel challenges readers mind reading abilities in deciphering Septimus s mental
illness through dominant narratorial voices and levels of intentionality and their own
interpretations. However, misinterpretations are not wrong because readers use
Theory of Mind to interpret it, rather novels stimulate intended readers to exercise
their abilities.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Scientists coined this evolved mental adaptation for understanding behaviour as
indicative of mental states mind reading or Theory of Mind (ToM) (Zunshine 847).
Although it is used towards social interactions, the human mind cannot distinguish
between real or fictional minds. Zunshine deems that default interpretation of
behaviour reflects a character s state of mind and that every fictional story that we
read reinforces our tendency to make that kind of interpretation first (Zunshine 850).
As readers practice their mind reading through fictional characters, the observable
behaviour is often connected with readers assumptions, beliefs, and ideas. Stories are
incomplete and ask readers to create their own meaning. However, they are
challenged to practice their meaning making with dominant narratorial voices and
behavioural

Analyzing its various elements requires a keen understanding of literary devices, symbolism, and the historical context in which Wordsworth wrote. Furthermore, delving into the poet's intentions and the impact of the Romantic era adds layers of complexity to the task. One must navigate through the delicate balance of personal interpretation and scholarly analysis. Exploring the themes of solitude, nature's beauty, and the transcendent power of imagination involves threading the needle between subjective appreciation and objective examination. Expressing one's thoughts in a coherent and engaging manner becomes crucial to convey the profound impact of the poem. • 3. Kurt Lewin ( 1947 ) Divides The Change Process SECTION ONE Answer 1. Kurt Lewin (1947) divides the change process into 3 steps. Unfreezing, Changing and Freezing. It is a very simple and practical model for understanding the change process. It is widely used and is a basis for many change models. He widely stages them as follows: a)Creating the perception that change is needed. b)Moving towards the new desired level of behaviour. c)Solidifying the new behaviour as the norm. UNFREEZING Unfreezing raises an initial awareness of the need for change. It is the first step in the change process. As many people will resist change the goal during unfreezing is to create awareness as to how the current level is hindering the organization in some way. Old behaviour, ways of thinking, procedures and process followed, Human resource, Organisation structure must be carefully examined to clarify the people in the organization the need for change to maintain competitive advantage. The Proprietor needs to convince his people the logic behind change and how it will be beneficial at Individual and Organisational level. Besides Lewin states that people should be motivated to accept change As an owner of Pink Donkey catering Ltd who wants to open his own restaurant and bring major change in the way business is done, I would emphasise on Unfreezing as a first step in change management process. I would convince them the urgency and necessity for change, as catering business we were able to reach limited customers but now the demand has

They go mad they shall be sane and Split all ends up they shan t crack . The blending of the unreal with reality emphasises the two sided nature of death. How can a man go mad, but still keep his sanity? How can a split object not crack? Death is not really the cease of existence of a person, but really just the physical decomposition of the body itself. In Dylan Thomas case, his body has already been slowly Twisting on racks when sinews give way, Strapped to a wheel, yet they shall not break . This is similar to the theme in Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night . Thomas asserts that he will not face death with open arms and will go down fighting to his last breath. The spirit is like a memory that lives on in those one has influenced. The spirit of Dylan Thomas would only crack when people have completely abandoned him, however, the split ends are kept together in history forever. Lovers be lost love shall not . The subtle difference in usage of love creates a vastly different interpretation of this paradox. Although physical lovers would be separated, the emotional bond would last. The direct contradiction serves as an extended metaphor of death s inability to cease all memory

Rhetorically, I think his argument to the committee is a good way to write an argument, at least in my opinion. He asks the questionWhy do I need college algebra? (Adams 19). I can relate to this as many of us in today s society are in college and we look at our degree requirements and think Why do I have to take this class to ourselves. In Adams case he only has the benefit of a ninth grade education. (Adams 18). It is clear that he needs algebra, but he tries to exempt himself from this requirement. Our Social Lives Remo Analysis When Did Lives on Social Media Become More Time Consuming than Our Social Lives by Jessica Remo argues that what people post social media is not portraying the truth to their daily lives. Social media allows the individual to post a picture, video, status, and edit these to make it seem like their lives are better than others. Social media allows the user to create their own TV channel and make their lives seem better than they really are, (Remo). In addition to portraying a fake live, these posts have negative impacts on the viewers. With the information provided, along with the diction Jessica Remo uses, it clearly demonstrates that she is opposed to social media, and believes that social media has negatives effects on others and that people only post what they want others to see. By treating this model briefly, I do not mean to imply that the tradeoff between incentives and insurance is irrelevant, only that it is not nearly as central as it was once deemed. In describing this and subsequent models, I omit some assumptions, derivations, and results; Prendergast (forthcoming) offers thorough introductions to many of these models. Consider an agent who takes an unobservable action a to produce output y. For example, the production function might be linear, y = a + s, where s is a noise term. The principal owns the output but contracts to share it with the agent by paying a wage w contingent on output. For example, the wage contract might be linear, w = s + by,where the intercept s is the salary and the slope b is the bonus rate. The agent s payoff is w c(a), the realized wage minus the disutility of action c(a). The principal s payoff is y w, the realized output net of wages. The key idea in this model is that the agent is risk averse. (The principal may be as well.) A higher bonus rate b thus creates stronger incentives for the agent, but also imposes more risk on the agent. The extreme case of b = 0 offers the agent full insurance but creates no incentives; the other extreme, b = 1, gives the agent full title to the output y but offers the agent no insurance at all. The efficient bonus rate is between zero and one, depending on factors such

Protecting The Rights Of Minority Groups Democratic societies are often faced with the issue of having to find a balance between the preservation of liberty rights, and protecting human rights and promoting equality. As a liberal society, we must protect the liberty right to freedom of expression; however, being a liberal society also means that there ought to be a responsibility to protect vulnerable minorities from being harmed by hate speech. As a result of competing rights, the state often faces the difficult task of determining when one right trumps the other. In this essay, I will discuss and defend the reasons why we must restrict certain types of hate speech the kind that assaults our dignity, and is harmful. Moreover, I will discuss and defend why we must protect the rights of minority groups, and how doing so can contribute to the greater good of society. To protect the rights of minority groups, governments must use hate speech laws to shield them from harms, such as verbal violations and assaults to their dignity, based on their gender, race, disability or religious affiliations. Harm is caused when hate speech produces a sense of fear, humiliation, and a belief that one is unwanted in the community. While people possess the right to freedom of thought, the right to be sovereign in determining their own beliefs and conclusions, as well as the freedom to hate a particular group, minorities should also have the right to be protected and free of harm caused by certain types of hate speech, and the

Much of the plot could conceivably occur within modern American politics. Like those of Wilde s 1890s London, modern politicians must contend with pitfalls associated with morality, corruption, and invasive media coverage. The American public holds politicians to a higher moral standard than they hold themselves. They will accept sin in themselves, but find it intolerable it in elected officials. As Tanner states in The Notion of Culture, because culture is constitutive of humanity and cultures are aligned social groups, the notion of culture suggest social determinism: society decisively shapes the character of its members (p. 28). Oftentimes the ideology of culture is associated with society as a whole, and how different races, ethnicities and regions come together to develop such social groups, but family is just as much of a culture as well. • 41. The Establishment and Rise of the Jesuits Essay At the turn of the 1500 s, the Society of Jesus, also known as the Jesuits, began. It s founder, Ignatius Loyola, created this society very distinct from other orders, in its fanatical obedience to the pope, and requirement of education to be a practitioner in the Society. The Jesuits played a large role in counter reformation, specifically Protestantism. The Catholic Church used the Jesuits to reclaim many of the souls lost to the heresies that abounded during that age. The Jesuits continue to serve the Church today, especially the Pope, and despite the accusation towards them, they remain a catholic organization. Loyola designed the society to be a secular representation of Jesus, taking vows of poverty and obedience, and creating... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The more Ignatius learned about Saints, the more he desired to imitate their lives. His first yearning after healing was to visit the Jerusalem and the rest of Judea. His first stop however was Barcelona. There Ignatius proceeded to the Benedictine Shrine of Our Lady of Montserrat, where his conversion really sank in. He left his sword and knife at the altar and began his life as simple man, giving away all his clothes. Continuing on his Journey to Barcelona, Ignatius stopped in a nearby cave to gain strength for a few days. However Ignatius lingered in this cave outside of Manresa for ten months. During this time he created the Spiritual Exercises while devoting his life to prayer, and work for the needy. He gained a new life view during this time, coming to focus his life on God and finding Him in all things. Ignatius also suffered through many penances, which left him in his later years with a problematic stomach. This affected the future rules for his monasteries, for he later did not require any penances. Finally arriving in Barcelona, Ignatius met Pope Adrian VI asked permission to visit the Holy Land. Because of the danger, Ignatius was denied consent. By then Ignatius had developed a new plan: He would become a priest. Because of lack of education in Latin, Ignatius stayed in Barcelona to learn Latin, begging his way through those years for food and shelter. He also gained much notoriety for his lectures on the Gospels. The Spanish

Although, it has been a subject of recent controversy, the benefits of being vaccinated far outweigh not being vaccinated. Instead of taking medical advice from an actress, or buying into the conspiracy theories that suggest the government is using immunizations in an attempt to poison the population, parents need to spend a little time doing some research on the matter. Vaccinations were developed to preserve human life. If popular opinion concerning immunizations changes, countless illnesses, hospitalizations and even deaths will be prevented. Prior to those days, children often came down with infectious diseases, and many of them died. For example, outbreaks of smallpox wreaked havoc upon the towns and villages it visited, claiming the lives of millions (Young, n.d. para. 5). People also tended to live in crowded conditions and drank contaminated water, often polluted with human waste. Unfortunately, in those days people were unaware of germs and their link to contagious illnesses. With primitive treatments, such as bloodletting, and leaches and without knowledge of immunizations, antibiotics, or even hand washing, many succumbed to terrible illness. Children in 17th century England died of diphtheria, pertussis (whooping cough), measles, smallpox, mumps, rubella, polio, haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib), pneumococcal infection and dysentery caused by rotavirus. Today, we immunize children against each of those ailments, except for smallpox and polio. In 1970, smallpox was declared eradicated. Polio, however, is limited to a handful of countries in the world mainly India, a few countries in the Middle East, and some parts of Africa (Young, n.d. para. 10). Each year, there are about 1,000 cases of polio being diagnosed. Frighteningly, the bacteria that cause all of these serious conditions are still around today. These illnesses could begin to reappear in our society if contracted by those who are not immunized. Currently, there are 23 shots that babies are

  • 46. City Cell Vs Plant Cell Essay There are many different ways in which a cell can be compared to something else. You can compare a cell to a factory, a school, or even a city. When comparing a cell to a city each organelle acts as different part of the city. One example of an organelle comparing to a part of a city is the cell membrane. The cell membrane can be compared to the boundaries of a city. Just like how the cell membrane keeps all of the organelles inside, the boundaries of a city determine what is or is not within city limits. In a city the most important building is the city hall. This is where all city s governmentofficials work. City hall is very much like the nucleus in a cell. The nucleus holds and protects all the cell s genetic information just like how city hall holds all the records... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Just like the ribosomes factory workers are responsible for building and producing items that the city needs. Next is the endoplasmic reticulum which is what molecules inside the cell travel along. This obviously compares to the roads which people in a city travel along to get from place to place. In a plant cell there is a reservoir that stores water for that it might need later. City s need to store water too and to do this they use water towers. These two are almost exact because they both only have one responsibility which is to just store water for later usage. Now although their are many other organelles in a cell these are just a few that can relate well to the different parts of a city. Cells are a huge part of biology and even though we just compare them to different things in a city just to get a better understanding of what they do, a cell itself really is just like one tiny city inside our bodies. Because without every organelles doing its job we wouldn t be able to function the way we do. And the same is with a city in real life. If every part of the city isn t running smoothly then it just wouldn t be able to work

Third, city and countryside are different in term of services. In big cities people are modern; they use much more modern technology, feel safe under the protection of security, and many other services that make their live much easier such as transportation and health care. First of all, people use modern technology such as computers, cell phones and internet. Second of all, the government provides security in various ways to protect people. Lisa Zunshine s Theory Of Mind Lisa Zunshine establishes through her theory Theory of Mind and Experimental Representations of Fictional Consciousness the readiness of human cognitive abilities to read physical behaviour as indicative of mental states. Although seemingly automatic, mind reading abilities are not always correct. Readers interpretation of physical cues stem from personal thoughts and beliefs and dominate narratorial voices that skew intended meaning. Zunshine s Theory of Mindexplores behavioural interpretation in Virginia Woolf s Mrs. Dalloway character Septimus Warren Smith. The novel challenges readers mind reading abilities in deciphering Septimus s mental illness through dominant narratorial voices and levels of intentionality and their own interpretations. Scientists coined this evolved mental adaptation for understanding behaviour as indicative of mental states mind reading or Theory of Mind (ToM) (Zunshine 847). Although it is used towards social interactions, the human mind cannot distinguish between real or fictional minds. Zunshine deems that default interpretation of behaviour reflects a character s state of mind and that every fictional story that we read reinforces our tendency to make that kind of interpretation first (Zunshine 850). As readers practice their mind reading through fictional characters, the observable behaviour is often connected with readers assumptions, beliefs, and ideas. Stories are incomplete and ask readers to create their own meaning. However, they are challenged to practice their meaning making with dominant narratorial voices and behavioural
