citizen is entitled to. It gives Americans the chance to voice their pleasure, or
displeasure, with those who represent them in public office by selecting who they
believe best represents their values and beliefs. But who organizes the candidates?
What are they affiliated with? The answer is political parties. A political party is
an organization of people who share the same views about the way power should
be used in a country or a society . It is typically accepted that political parties in
america serve four functions. The first being that they selected candidates who best
represent them to run for office. The second is they mobilize voters and convince
these voters to vote for their selected candidates. Third, they facilitate governance by
bringing some sort of order to the process of lawmaking. And finally fourth, they

Orwell begins the story by claiming his perspective on British Imperialism. He says
that it is evil and he is fully against the oppressors. Though he is actually a British
officer himself he feels hatred and guilt towards himself, his empire, and the

deeper meaning to the rest of the story as it highlights why he dislikes it so much.

In previous studies, studying the chemistry and the types of macro invertebrates that
live in a pond or stream can indicate how clean the water is; according to the North
Carolina State university water quality group, stoneflies like water rich in dissolved
oxygen, cold in temperature and flowing through rocks (Osmond watersheds page 1).
In this lab, we went to two streams, cherry creek and bear creek. We took physical
Measurements like the width, depth, description of substrate and the site. This was
done for the upper, middle, and lower transect. and chemical measurements of the
streams like measuring pH, temperature, phosphate, nitrite, nitrate, ammonia,
dissolved O2, and dissolved solids. We also counted the macro invertebrates we
found and then we Identified the ones we found. With the data that we collected, we
hope to find out how does the water affect the types of macro invertebrates found in
the streamwhich brings up my hypothesis which is The more dissolved O2 found in
the water, we will find bioindicators that indicate clean water. I predict if there is
high amounts of O2 dissolved, then there will be presence of bio indicators that only

The Negro Digs Up His Past by Arthur Schomburg is an article he wrote in 1925, in
which he complaint that somehow through the years African American history has
been questioned and denied as many claim that Africans have no history at all. He
uses this paper to illustrate the importance of recording the collective
accomplishments of African Americans and that we must at all costs save any
evidence, so that things like this do not happen again in the future. He wants to

The model of three planes of the mind is nothing new. Sigmund Freud, the famous
Austrian psychologist was the first to make this widespread into majority of society
as we know it today. Even though his theories have from time to time been widely
debated among Psychologists because they are nearly impossible to justify
scientifically, Freud nevertheless created a handy theoretical model of the mind,
which he separated into 3 tiers or sections the conscious mind or ego, the
preconscious, and the unconscious mind.
Our conscious mind is what people associate us with, as it is where most people
exist and thrive daily. The conscious mind consists of everything that we are aware
of. This is the part of our psychological processing that we can think and talk about
rationally in other words this the cognitive portion.
The subconscious part of the mind, on the other hand, is in charge of our most recent
memoirs, and it is in spontaneous interaction with the resources of the mighty
unconscious mind. It is the portion of the mind that signifies regular memory. While
we are not consciously aware of this information at any given time, we can recover it
and bring it into consciousness when required.

Abstract
The generation effect refers to the experimental findings that when the subject is
asked to generate all/part of the stimulus the item is always remembered better than
the stimulus that the subject only read (Slamecka Graf). That is the information that
the subject generates/creates by oneself is remembered better compared to the
information they only read. Results show that in all the cases, the performance in
generation condition was superior to that in read condition. Using a repeated
measures design, subjects were exposed to 2 levels (conditions, namely, read
condition and generate condition). After each condition, they were engaged in a
simple recall task, remembering as many words as they could. This phenomenon is
applied even across variations in encoding rules, timed or self placed presentation and
along with between and within subjects design. A number of potential explanatory
principles are considered and their difficulties are enumerated in the following report.

Emma Eulogy Speech
I m sure most of you know who I am, and I feel very honored that I was asked to
speak on her behalf. Emma and I have been friends for a very long time and I
thought I would start by telling the story of Emma s life. She was born on April 3,
2001, here in Carroll. In her younger years she was temperamental, and had some
great stories to prove it. She screamed like she was getting murdered because her
mother wouldn t buy her a baby doll. She cried for a five hour car ride because she
received the wrong kind of hash browns. I think all these moments just made her
familylove her more and set the level of her sassiness for her future.
As she grew up her sassiness never went away. In high school she was just as sassy
as she was when she was born, and at her work she was even called the sass master.
She kept her sass through college and until the day she died. It was one of my
favorite qualities of hers. Besides being sassy she was a natural born leader. Her
coaches and teachers would tell her so. When she was in high school she was a
part of student council and at her college she was a part of the student government.
After college she took a job at her old high school, Glidden Ralston. While she was
working there she met her husband Liam Roberts. They dated for several years
