The engineer team assisted in the setup of the LASIC pushbutton for rapid
changeover system.
There was used PackML - RSLogix 5000 software and installed, Siko AG02 / AG05
servo motors, and HMS AnyBus CANopen Master to Ethernet IP network converter.

 OVERVIEW:
The engineer team was responsible of Paste Supply & Fillers setup for the new
Pig system sequences based on user requirements. There was used RSLogix 5000
and EPASS 4 software.
Now during the launch is possible to work with both fillers so there is not down
time on the line for rapid changeover.

 OVERVIEW:
The engineer team defined the requirements, design, and installation guidelines for a
safety system. All this associated with the setup of a Safety PLC with AMEC
(Alternative Methods of Energy Control).
Actually the machine provides prevention of unexpected start-up (control of
hazardous energy) for mechanical and electrical servicing of electrical driven
equipment.
Rockwell training was attended to complete the formal certification.

The engineer team was focused on implementing Rockwell Software solution, for
data management, alarm and events, trending and reporting suite.
Now the production supervisors can view individual historical data on demand;
this enhanced the access into the full breadth of process data.

The engineer team created a virtual server environment using two servers HP
DL380P Gen8 with high availability.
Virtual image templates were setup for Rockwell Applications (FactoryTalk
Historian, Transaction Manager, FactoryTalk View and Web Services).

The engineer team gave support on the production lines for about 2 years. He
replaced and improved the work processes applying new vision cameras to check
critical dimensions and/or measure components for sorting and classification
processes.
Graphical controls such as indicator lights, buttons, data displays and entries, trend
charts and message boxes were setup to create the operator display.

7. SAFETY

The engineer team designed safety circuits and installed movable interlocks for
different cells of the process.
A verification for each device was applied to meet Performance Level d and
control reliable requirements.

8. MATERIAL TRACKING

 OVERVIEW:
The engineer team assisted in the setup of Terminal Automation System (TAS) that
provides monitoring, control and management of the entire product handling process
from receiving to distribution.
His experience includes products such as crude oil, refined oil, liquefied natural gas,
petroleum gas and chemical tank farms, utilizing loading systems for ships, trains,
trucks and pipelines.

9. PRODUCTIVITY

 OVERVIEW:
The engineer team setup Simovert Master Drives for substitution of mechanical
machine elements to replace rigid mechanical systems with mainshaft, gears and
cams.
The engineer teaming increased cycle rates by replacing mechanical transmission
components with servo technologies. Automated format change by means of recipe
storage.

10. NEW INICIATIVES

 OVERVIEW:
The engineer team supported the startup and commissioning of making area for
about 1 year. Creating and simulating recipes automatically in FactoryTalk Batch.
Also collected detailed electronic batch data about the process on SQL to
generate VBA reports.
