Reverend Hale came to Salem hoping to prove himself as a witch expert, but began to doubt as he questioned innocent people like John and Elizabeth Proctor who showed no signs of witchcraft. When questioning locals, they also insisted that the accused were good people. Hale started to realize that innocent people had been hanged with no solid evidence beyond accusations. The narrator's sister discovered the tooth fairy was not real when she woke up and saw their father trading a tooth for money in an attempt to keep up the ruse, sealing her disillusionment.

It discusses how the moment when the main character Howard Roark blows up the Cortlandt building has a powerful impact on both the characters and readers. 1. I Believe In Luck
The age old question,"Do you believe in luck", is asked over and over again throughout one's life.
Oprah Winfrey once said, "Luck is a matter of preparation meeting opportunity". She's saying that
luck only comes if you make it happen. One must be prepared, seek an favored occasion, and grasp
at opportunities. Oprah believes that through these things, you will find your own luck. Oprah feels a
person must make the things happen that they want by being prepared. I believe Oprah is right.
One must always prepare themselves for the things they plan to achieve in life. For me, I have
been preparing myself to become a teacher through classroom experience. Experience is key to
being prepared. To be prepared one must also observe. Living

2. Essay What I Believe
I believe in logic. I believe in reason. Specifically, I apply this logic to a major choice in my life,
that of religion. When someone asks you what your beliefs are, what's the first thing you think of?
For most people, religious orientation is the first thing that comes to mind. I have to say, this is the
first thing that came to my mind, although it was not a specific religion that came to mind for
myself, but rather, the complete lack of one. I am what one would consider atheistic; that is, I hold
no beliefs in any particular god, and I do not identify with any religious association. I am not simply
a non–practicing believer, as many people choose to proclaim when they fail to attend church
regularly. I have completely distanced myself...show more content...
Atheism has developed a skewed public perception over the years. Many believe that atheism is
the complete lack of a moral code. I find this concept laughable at best. Instead, I would argue that
a theist that does not perform an amoral action because they fear divine retribution is less moral
than an atheist that chooses not to perform an amoral action simply on the basis that it is an
amoral thing to do. I personally find my moral code to be on par with many of my theistic peers,
even though I developed my morals in absence of any religious input. It is my belief that atheism
rather than theism should be the default creed one should obtain before any religion is considered. I
find it odd that the majority of otherwise logical people choose to blindly follow that which has
been placed before them in ancient texts and soapbox speeches.
Many ask me: "Why? Why set this as your default?" My only answer is that we cannot follow
blindly the fables of another. We must determine our own paths through what we know to be true.
Basic truths can be discovered through our own experimentation. For example, I discovered gravity
at a young age while struggling and failing with the concept of walking. The concept of gravity is an
unchanging truth for me, one that I determined on my own. We can use these fundamental rules of
knowledge to create more complex guidelines as to how the universe operates. Through this process
I have come discover many things that I hold true about this

3. Essay About Myself
There are three very important aspects that play a major rule in my life. They can be categorized as
intellectual, social, and spiritual. My intellectual self is interesting because I am mainly
right–brained which means that I tend to use my creativity more than my mathematical skills, also
making me a visual learner. My social self consists of friends, family, and my surroundings. I spend
most of my time at home with my family. Whenever I am with my friends, I observe their behaviors
and listen to their opinions. I am more of an independent type of person. Being with different people
has influenced me into appreciating different cultures and beliefs. I have learned things that have
now been incorporated into my own set of beliefs and...show more content...
I find that I can only recall long–term memories if they are important to me, or if they are dramatic
experiences. A few examples of my childhood memories are my mother reading to me, my
grandfather playing his guitar, and my dad relentlessly teaching me how to ice skate, no matter
how many times I fell. The people who affect my social life the most are my family and friends. I
have an extremely close family that has played a major role in my life. They are whom I spend
most of my spare time with. My family usually gathers every weekend for dinner. I am also very
open to different religions, cultures, and practices because I know many people with different
backgrounds and beliefs. Since I've been influenced by various people, I've learned at a very
young age to never judge people by how they look, dress, feel, or act. I am very fortunate to have
learned these lessons, because many people still do not understand the importance of accepting
differences. In a group, I prefer to listen to what others have to say, and then contribute to the
discussion. I try to listen so I am able to compare them to my own thoughts. I enjoy working in a
group, because it gives everyone an opportunity to incorporate their own ideas. My social self is
most greatly influenced by my family and friends. I believe that my spiritual self is the most
important out of the three. Although I have a certain religion that I belong to and practice, I believe
in a bit of

4. I Believe In Change
I believe in change. Change is something that is almost inevitable to everyone on the face of this
earth. For me, this change has happened multiple times. Some changes bigger than the other and
some smaller than the last, but nonetheless a change is a change. The change that has made the most
difference, was the change that came from when my family and I moved into our new home. We had
left our suburban home in an area that had rather poor public schooling and as well as other residents
making their move out. Having this announcement did not come easy, when it was announced it was
the middle of my Freshman year in high school and the planned moved date was sometime in
mid–July. As time went on and the move date grew closer, I felt both a sense of relief and also
desire. The desire to see this new house and to move all of my stuff into my new room, the desire to
make new friends at the new school I would attend, the relief I had came by the sense of letting go
of all the negatives here at home and making way for a new start in a new home and new community.
As time went on in the new house it all went very well, the transformation went smooth and the
neighbors were so welcoming and helpful. The high school I attended in the new community was
very good to me and gave me resources that my past school just could not...show more content...
I personally was able to make some great self–discoveries as this change went on, new interests such
as volunteering and being more involved with my community. This was again something that can
be called a new start, a new start in that now I was able to make new friends, have a new home, new
neighbors, and overall new experiences. These new experiences go hand in hand with the change
that has had happened, a change for the better and an experience that can better me
