On December 20 Donald Trump called for a “federal strategy to ensure secure and reliable supplies of critical minerals.” The move came one day after the U.S. Geological Survey released the first comprehensive update on the subject since 1973, taking a thorough look—nearly 900-pages thorough—at commodities vital to our neighbour’s, and ultimately the West’s, well-being.
The Report, prepared for the Company by Ralph Stea, Ph.D., P.Geo. of Halifax, NS provides the first
comprehensive description of the geology and compilation of available information pertaining to the
economic potential on the 3,440 acre property located in Northumberland County, New Brunswick.
Chris Anderson, President, states "After expending approximately $140,000 in initial exploration, this
comprehensive report confirms the project's merits. With detailed recommendations to expend a
additional $230,000 in phase one for further exploration on this project we are optimistic that GreenLight will attract its first joint venture partner. This is our initial step in leveraging GreenLight’s ability to find and advance properties of merit in Atlantic Canada. GreenLight is taking this approach in order to enhance shareholder value and assist in offsetting the expense of building and expanding an early stage exploration team to continue exploring Atlantic Canada. Challenging times require creative solutions and this is one approach we are taking, while advancing our main assets through the drilling stage in attempts to building a resource. "
A presentation from Jared VanMeter from Range Resources showing maps and background information on the emerging Upper Devonian Shale formation--a layer of shale that sits a few hundred feet above the Marcellus Shale in the northeastern U.S. Range and several other drillers are now targeting the Upper Devonian, part of a "stacked play" strategy that includes drilling three layers in the same well: Upper Devonian, Marcellus and Utica.
The Innisvale Drive Outfall Restoration project was substantially completed on December 11, 2018. The primary goals of this project in the Popes Head Creek Watershed were to address public safety concerns, stabilize a deeply eroded channel, and improve water quality. The natural channel design techniques used, such as a reinforced bed mix riffle sections and step pools, reduce the flow velocity, provide stability, and enhance water quality along the stream leading to the Chesapeake Bay. The disturbed areas of the site were restored with native shrubs, plants and trees.

Low level oblique 1976 and 2007 aerial photos covering the Lake Michigan and Lake Superior shorelines in Wisconsin were used for qualitative mapping of conditions along the shoreline in a GIS database to support comparative analysis between the two time periods. Three components of the shoreline were captured for each time period: (1) beach/nearshore zone; (2) backshore zone; and (3) structure type (points), for non-linear or perpendicular structures (e.g. groins, jetties). This presentation will highlight some of the changes that did take place on the shoreline between 1976 and 2007. We will also present the processes and issues associated with capturing shoreline features using oblique photos within a GIS environment as well as issues related to storing, viewing and distributing these datasets. Finally, we will describe the applications and tools that are being developed to make the datasets and related information available to the public through a web-based mapping portal and its planned integration into the Wisconsin Coastal Atlas.
Automobile Management System Project Report.pdfKamal Acharya
The proposed project is developed to manage the automobile in the automobile dealer company. The main module in this project is login, automobile management, customer management, sales, complaints and reports. The first module is the login. The automobile showroom owner should login to the project for usage. The username and password are verified and if it is correct, next form opens. If the username and password are not correct, it shows the error message.
When a customer search for a automobile, if the automobile is available, they will be taken to a page that shows the details of the automobile including automobile name, automobile ID, quantity, price etc. “Automobile Management System” is useful for maintaining automobiles, customers effectively and hence helps for establishing good relation between customer and automobile organization. It contains various customized modules for effectively maintaining automobiles and stock information accurately and safely.
When the automobile is sold to the customer, stock will be reduced automatically. When a new purchase is made, stock will be increased automatically. While selecting automobiles for sale, the proposed software will automatically check for total number of available stock of that particular item, if the total stock of that particular item is less than 5, software will notify the user to purchase the particular item.
Also when the user tries to sale items which are not in stock, the system will prompt the user that the stock is not enough. Customers of this system can search for a automobile; can purchase a automobile easily by selecting fast. On the other hand the stock of automobiles can be maintained perfectly by the automobile shop manager overcoming the drawbacks of existing system.

CFD Simulation of By-pass Flow in a HRSG module by R&R Consult.pptxR&R Consult
CFD analysis is incredibly effective at solving mysteries and improving the performance of complex systems!
Here's a great example: At a large natural gas-fired power plant, where they use waste heat to generate steam and energy, they were puzzled that their boiler wasn't producing as much steam as expected.
R&R and Tetra Engineering Group Inc. were asked to solve the issue with reduced steam production.
An inspection had shown that a significant amount of hot flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes, where the heat was supposed to be transferred.
R&R Consult conducted a CFD analysis, which revealed that 6.3% of the flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes without transferring heat. The analysis also showed that the flue gas was instead being directed along the sides of the boiler and between the modules that were supposed to capture the heat. This was the cause of the reduced performance.
Based on our results, Tetra Engineering installed covering plates to reduce the bypass flow. This improved the boiler's performance and increased electricity production.
It is always satisfying when we can help solve complex challenges like this. Do your systems also need a check-up or optimization? Give us a call!
Work done in cooperation with James Malloy and David Moelling from Tetra Engineering.

Terzaghi's soil bearing capacity theory, developed by Karl Terzaghi, is a fundamental principle in geotechnical engineering used to determine the bearing capacity of shallow foundations. This theory provides a method to calculate the ultimate bearing capacity of soil, which is the maximum load per unit area that the soil can support without undergoing shear failure. Cosmetic shop management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
Buying new cosmetic products is difficult. It can even be scary for those who have sensitive skin and are prone to skin trouble. The information needed to alleviate this problem is on the back of each product, but it's thought to interpret those ingredient lists unless you have a background in chemistry.
Instead of buying and hoping for the best, we can use data science to help us predict which products may be good fits for us. It includes various function programs to do the above mentioned tasks.
Data file handling has been effectively used in the program.
The automated cosmetic shop management system should deal with the automation of general workflow and administration process of the shop. The main processes of the system focus on customer's request where the system is able to search the most appropriate products and deliver it to the customers. It should help the employees to quickly identify the list of cosmetic product that have reached the minimum quantity and also keep a track of expired date for each cosmetic product. It should help the employees to find the rack number in which the product is placed. It is also Faster and more efficient way.

Mississippi River Pinnacle Removal Thebes, Illinois
2012 – Durocher Marine: Arc Surveying & Mapping, Inc. performed multibeam swath
bathymetric surveys at Thebes, IL during December, 2012. The project consisted of locating
pinnacles in the river bottom which were hazards to navigation during the extremely low water
river levels. Surveys were performed in conjunction with the St. Louis District ACOE and
contractors worked together to clear the river channel for shipping.
2014 - Massman Construction: Arc Surveying & Mapping, Inc. performed multibeam swath
bathymetric surveys on the Mississippi River between Mile markers 39 to 47 under contract to
Massman Construction Company for the St Louis District ACOE. The work consisted of collecting
river bottom depths and isolating rock pinnacles protruding above the required river mile
design grade.
Surveys were performed daily and provided to the excavator in xyz format for input into the
excavator software. Survey data was transmitted to Arc’s Jacksonville, Florida office for daily QC
and quantity calculations. Survey data, quantity calculations and maps were provided to the St
Louis District daily.
