Arc Surveying & Mapping, Inc. was selected to perform a bathymetric and sediment survey of 350-acre Lake Rowell near Starke, Florida using devices including DGPS, GPR, sonar depth sounding and pole soundings to identify the top and bottom of lake sediments. They also retrieved sediment samples from the lake bottom using Vibecore plexiglass tubes. Arc has specialized experience with technologies like GPR and sonar as well as vehicles for accessing remote lake and marsh areas.

Commission to perform a bathymetric and sediment survey of Lake Rowell. A 350-acre lake
located near Starke, Florida, Bradford County. Arc identified the top and bottom of lake
sediments using a variety of devices including DGPS, GPR, sonar depth sounding and pole
soundings. Arc also retrieved sediment samples of the lake bottom sediment using Vibecore
plexiglass tubes.
