Small Gearing System

Derailleur of Bicycle
Other small things like LED’s, wires, tape etc.

(Small Scale)
To make the turbine of the model, paste plastic cups around the front wheel of the
tricycle containing the shaftso that it can be fixed on a stand.
ENERGY CREATION
In the model, we can create energy by setting a bottle at a position
vertical above the turbine. When water is poured through the bottle on
the turbine cups clamped on a stand made of wood, turbine starts
rotating with a speed and this can be used to rotate the dynamo. Only
mechanical energy is produced.
Energy can be directly produced by the use of solar panel in the model
which directly converts solar energy to electrical energy.

 I have used a small scale of generator to convert mechanical energy
into electrical energy which is known as the DYNAMO. This is the
main part.
 When the turbine rotates, it also rotates a chain which thereafter
rotates the gearing system of motor. Gearing system is used to
increase the number of revolutions per second of the motor.
SOLAR PANEL
Solar panel is a device
consisting of solar cells.
These cells convert the
solar energy falling on
them to electrical energy.
I have used the solar panel to increase the output of my
model. Hydroelectric power plant and solar panel together
can easily produce an electricity enough to charge a mobile.
It does not require any other thing to produce electricity.
Electricity produced by it is combined to the electricity
produced by hydro project to increase voltage.
WORKING ( R e a l D a m )
In it water is made to fall from a height on to the blades of a turbine, and the blades start
rotating. This rotating turbine transfers energy from a shaft to a generator which in turns
rotates and produces electricity which can be used for a number of purposes.

Why Should We Prefer These Projects
Over Others?
The production of energy from hydroelectric, solar, tidal power plants do not
cause any pollution whereas thermal, nuclear power plants causespollution and
environmental problems due to burning of fossil fuels and nuclear waste.
These are renewable resources, so ones set up, they will work indefinitely by
proper maintenance whereas most of the current electricity project are of non
renewable resources and will be of no use after exhaustionof fossil fuels or
nuclear material etc.

  • 4. Making Of The Turbine ORIGINAL TURBINES MODEL TURBINE (Small Scale) To make the turbine of the model, paste plastic cups around the front wheel of the tricycle containing the shaftso that it can be fixed on a stand.
  • 5. ENERGY CREATION In the model, we can create energy by setting a bottle at a position vertical above the turbine. When water is poured through the bottle on the turbine cups clamped on a stand made of wood, turbine starts rotating with a speed and this can be used to rotate the dynamo. Only mechanical energy is produced. Energy can be directly produced by the use of solar panel in the model which directly converts solar energy to electrical energy.

DYNAMO DYNAMO DC MOTOR (with gears transversal view) DC MOTOR (with gears vertical view)  I have used a small scale of generator to convert mechanical energy into electrical energy which is known as the DYNAMO. This is the main part.  When the turbine rotates, it also rotates a chain which thereafter rotates the gearing system of motor. Gearing system is used to increase the number of revolutions per second of the motor.
  • 7. SOLAR PANEL Solar panel is a device consisting of solar cells. These cells convert the solar energy falling on them to electrical energy. I have used the solar panel to increase the output of my model. Hydroelectric power plant and solar panel together can easily produce an electricity enough to charge a mobile. It does not require any other thing to produce electricity. Electricity produced by it is combined to the electricity produced by hydro project to increase voltage.

  • 9. WORKING ( R e a l D a m ) In it water is made to fall from a height on to the blades of a turbine, and the blades start rotating. This rotating turbine transfers energy from a shaft to a generator which in turns rotates and produces electricity which can be used for a number of purposes.

Why Should We Prefer These Projects Over Others? The production of energy from hydroelectric, solar, tidal power plants do not cause any pollution whereas thermal, nuclear power plants causespollution and environmental problems due to burning of fossil fuels and nuclear waste. These are renewable resources, so ones set up, they will work indefinitely by proper maintenance whereas most of the current electricity project are of non renewable resources and will be of no use after exhaustionof fossil fuels or nuclear material etc.
