Human development can be defined as the process by which a society improves
the quality of life of its citizens by increasing the goods with which it can meet its
necessities, both basic and complementary, and the creation of an environment
in which Respect all the human rights of that society.
It can also be defined as the process by which it is possible to increase the
options of all the inhabitants of a country or region in different areas such as:
educational, labor, recreational, material and cultural, among
others. Thus, human development consists in increasing the integral wellbeing o
f an individual and not only in his material improvement.
It refers to the process by which possibilities are designed for a
community of inhabitants to have options and offers for
educational, labor, material, recreational and cultural
improvement.
What is human development?
The three countries with the best human
development (Norway, Australia and Switzerland),
the international organization highlights the
"extraordinary advances" achieved in the last 25
years by the Latin American and Caribbean
countries, but stresses that these "hide a
progress Slow and uneven in the case of certain grou
ps. "

Latin America continues to progress in terms of human
development, although the region continues with the
problem of inequality
Mexico occupies position 77 in the Human
development index, which does not reach
the Top 30 of the list made by the United
Nations that considers 188 countries.
The study that measures life expectancy, education
and income per capita details that on a scale of 1 to 0
the human development index in Mexico is 0.762
which places the country in "high human development"
however compared to last year have the place 74.
In years or porcents
Health Life expectancy at birth 76.7
Education Years of average education 8.7
Income INB per capita LN 9.5
Inequality Gender inequality Index 0.576
Poverty Poverty index 0.015
Human Development Index Posicion 77
Gini Index
It is usually used to measure income inequality within a
country, but it can be used to measure any form of uneven
distribution. The Gini coefficient is a number between 0
and 1, where 0 corresponds to the perfect equality (all
have the same income) and where the value 1
corresponds to the perfect inequality (one person has all
the income and the other none)
In the issue of development of inequality in Mexico I occupy at the
world level the place 77. This is mainly because
of the insecurity and violence that our country has and that every yea
r it is growing. Compared with other Latin American countries like
Chile that has the place 38 leaves much to be desired, because
through this list we realize that in recent years countries that we
considered below our country so to speak we are jumping in
progress , I think the Mexicans have to put a lot on our side if we
want to occupy a better place in the world with relation to human
development.
