- 4. Full Form OfHtml Html: Hyper Text Mark – Up Language HYPER TEXT : Hyper Text Is The Text Used To Link Various Web Pages. It The Text On Web Page, Which On Clicking Opens A New Web Page. Mark - Up: It Means Highlighting Text By Underling Or Displaying It In A Different Colors, Or Both. Language : It Refers To The Way Of Commutation Between Web Pages, Which Has Its Own Syntax & Rules.
- 5. HISTORY OF HTML IBMshowed the seed for HTML in the early 1980s. It was known as GML ( General Mark -Up Language ). It is a powerful tool that aimed at creating a document language in which one could mark the title, font selection & much more. In 1986, this concept got standardization by ISO & named SGML . In 1989, Tim Berners Lee & his team designed this language & named HTML. The language HTML was modified many times leading to number of versions i.e. HTML version 0 up to HTML version 5 which is the latest one.

- 7. HOW TO CREAT& VIEW A HTML DOCUMENT To create a HTML document we can type the text in any word processor, like Word Pad, Notepad & create the page. The extension given to the page is always .html. Let us see how to open & create a document using Notepad. 1. Open Notepad by clicking on Start > Programs > Accessories > Notepad. 2. The Notepad window will appears. 3. Type the HTML code as shown in the adjoining screen.
- 8. HOW TO CREAT& VIEW A HTML DOCUMENT 4. Click on File > Save menu option. The Save As dialog box will appear. Select All Files in Save As type option. Mention the name in File name text box with an extension .html. 5. Click on save button. To view any HTML file we need only web browser that is Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator. Here we using Internet Explorer, as it is a part of Windows. To view your first web page, follows these steps;
- 9. HOW TO CREAT& VIEW A HTML DOCUMENT 1. Click on Start > Programs menu & choose Internet Explorer option. The Internet Explorer windows will appear. 2. Click on File > Open menu option. The Open dialog box will appears. Click on Browse button. A dialog box will appears. 3. Choose the path where you have stored your HTML document & after selecting your file. Click on Open button & OK in Open dialog box. 4. Your web page will be shown on the web browser.

IE is a series of graphical web browsers developed by Microsoft. 2. Mozilla Firefox :- Mozilla Firefox is a free web browser & is deigned by Mozilla Corporation. It is the second most popular browser in the world.
