According to comScore, MySpace has been overtaken by main competitor Facebook in April 2008, based on monthly unique visitors 253,000,000 2003 General. The free-access website is privately owned and operated . Mark Zuckerberg founded Facebook while he was a student at Harvard University.  144,000,000 2004 Business. Mainly used for professional networking. As of December 2007, its site traffic was 3.2 million visitors per month, up 485% from the end of 2006. As of May 2008, it had more than 24 million registered users, spanning 150 industries.  30,000,000 2003 Business and Personal.
