My Design Of Sighting A Gun
I.The purpose for my design is to speed up the process of sighting a gun in, the
scope to take into compensate the parabolic launch of a bullet, and to hit to target
bulls eye. Sighting in a gun requires a long trial and error process that any hunter,
marine, or police sniper would agree upon. As a bullet is fired from a rifle it rises a
few inches for about one hundred yards or more where it descends below the axis
of the barrel. The scope looks like any other scope but will account for the parabolic
launch and relocate its self to the correct position for the most accurate shot. Nikon is
a company that produces quality scopes and would be a good contestant for the idea.
They support their products being brighter, clearer, precise, and rugged, but these are
just a few of the attributes knowledgeable hunters commonly use to describe Nikon
riflescopes. Nikon is determined to bring hunters, shooters, and sportsmen a wide
selection of the best huntingoptics money can buy while at the same time pushing

even on holy days. Da Vinci explored every branch of science known at his time and

Since the 1970 s, many debates and arguments have formed over the problems in
the Florida foster care system. Some of the arguments were made as to whether
different races should become foster families or whether or not is was suitable for
gay couples to foster children. Another issue that arose was the children with special
needs or older children that people didn t want. As the foster system grew, it began to
experience setbacks. There were now more children needing homes than available

contaminated that can cause disease or death if not treated right away. To
determine rather the sun has a positive or negative effect on rather or not microbial

local creek. Water that was primarily in a shaded area, where no sunlight could
reach and water that was completely exposed to sunlight, with a control variable of

exposed to sunlight was 0.7mm in section one, 1.5mm in section two, and 0.5 in
section three (table 1). The agar plate with a tap, sterilized water, had the largest
microbial in size at about 1.7 mm. The light exposed water had an increase in size
from section one at 0.5 mm to 1.1 in section 3.
Analyzing each plate, there was a physical feature that was easily identify for
example the surface, texture color and elevation. In the lighted plate, each section
had a smooth surface appearance, section 1 had a rigid texture but sections 2 and 3

identity in order to conform to the societal, patriarchal expectations of the time
(Thomson, 2013). Gwen Harwood s poem Suburban Sonnet and Sylvia Plath s The
Applicant give insight into the disenfranchisement of women of this era. This essay
will argue that Harwood s and Plath s poems both challenge the romanticism
associated with marriage, consequently exploiting the underlying societal hardship
and conformity as a result of the patriarchy. To support this overarching argument
there will be two key sub arguments that demonstrate how the two poems compare to
one another. The first sub argument will centre around Suburban Sonnet and will
criticise how the role of motherhood destabilises the traditional sonnet conventions,
resulting in exploiting marriage as a means to conform and control women. The
second sub argument is in reference to The Applicant , where the symbolism
associated with marriage is ironically displaced, accordingly subverting the social
constructions placed around marriage.
Suburban Sonnet displays many forms of symbolism throughout to destabilise

of clothing is inappropriate and distracting to the male students. In some cases, girls

Appearance is now a visual image that is introduced into the stereotypes of men in
Appalachia. In the films Lawless, The Dollmaker, and Songcatcher the men are
consistently trying to prove themselves to outsiders. In the films the men are
portrayed as the stereotypical mountain man based on their appearance and actions.
There is a clear distinction between the outsider men and the Appalachian men,
simply by their physical appearance. The way the men dress in the films confirms
the stereotypical idea of how people in Appalachia dress, reinforcing stereotypical
ideas that they are untrustworthy and not equals. The majority of the Appalachian
men wore overalls, dirty or torn clothing, and had dirt on their face. In the eyes of
the outsiders, the Appalachian men could not be trusted because they looked dirty
therefore were worth less than outsiders. In comparison to the eyes of the
Appalachian men, those who dressed in more formal clothing could not be trusted.
In Lawless, the Bondurant brothers dressed this way and outsiders believed they are
not trustable because they fell into the stereotype. In The Dollmaker, before the
move to Detroit, Clovis dressed the same way, as well as the other Appalachian men
shown in the film. Also in the film Songcatcher, we see the Appalachian men dress

INTRODUCTION Decisionary is a tool designed to resolve indecision. It gets
information from the users and outputs a decision analysis report and a cognitive
bias checklist based on the given information. The scope of this project is intended
to be a proof of concept rather than a fully functioning program. In view of this, we
have a mock up program with three heuristics, two decision tree strategies, and a
function to identify potential biases. Rather than simply providing a suggestion to
the user as most other decision making tools do, Decisionary approaches the
problem in an explorative manner, reframing the problem and helping the user
break the mental deadlock. WHAT IS THE TOOL The overall framework of
Decisionary is a concretized form of the natural flow of decision making.
Accordingly, it is assumed that users have adequate information on their decision.
The user describes the decision to be made, inputs needed information and then
