You’ve worked hard to create a brand you’re proud of now the question is, how do you make your company’s branding profitable. Let’s take a look at your options.#1  If you’ve created a memorable, and likeable, brand then you’re already on your way to making your company’s branding profitable. People buy from companies they like, respect, have heard of, and who instill a level of confidence. Continue to strengthen your brand through your marketing and promotion efforts.#2  In order to maintain and increase profits, your brand has to continue to keep up with your customer’s needs. Your brand, represents your core benefit, your USP and your personality, it’s the essence of your business and yet, as your audience’s needs change and grow, your brand needs to grow with it.For example, Coca Cola is perhaps one of the strongest brands in the world today. They represent good times and fond memories, right?  You can’t help but smile when you see a Coke logo. However, the traditional soda they sold decades ago isn’t their only product. The Coke brand continued to grow and change to meet the demands of today’s consumers with Dt Coke, Caffeine free coke and a whole host of other products yet at the same time they took with them their core benefit and what Coca Cola represents.#3  Another way to profit from your brand is to lend it out to reputable companies. Partner with other companies by putting your brand on their products. You can negotiate an arrangement where you make a percentage of the profits or receive a flat payment. You profit and they capitalize on your brand and make more sales. This of course has to be considered carefully and you want to make sure that any product or service you put your brand on meets your customer’s expectations for quality.#4  Re-evaluate your brand. If your branding isn’t as profitable as you want it to be consider giving it an overhaul. Simple things like a better logo and slogan will help however much of a small businesses brand is built on personality, your personality. If your logo isn’t as powerful as you’d like it to be, explore how you can share and communicate more of your personality through your products, services and policies. For example, if you’re a straight to the point, no holds barred type of person then your copy, content and messages should reflect that.Making your branding profitable for small business owners, is about finding that core benefit you offer and communicating it effectively to your audience. Once you’ve built a strong brand or are on the way to building a strong and memorable brand, capitalize on it by continuing to offer what your audience needs while still communicating and supporting your brand’s core message.<br />
