You're Gonna Need Paid for That: An OverviewFalcon.io
Social media advertising spend is expected to top $47.9 billion in 2021. In a pay-to-play game, social media advertising is a must for brands. Why is it so important? Speed to market, campaign sustainability, and good old fashioned message frequency. Ultimately, paid social media helps with targeting audiences and driving sales just as organic social media does. But, paid social advertising helps your content get views without relying on organic platform algorithms and their ongoing changes. Social is now all about how you target your audience, build customer journeys and get people to your site to make a purchase. Paid social media strategies help with exactly that. But the real challenge is understanding the specifics of social media advertising, how to get started, what to spend and how each network operates. That’s a lot even for experienced marketers to manage and can be a hurdle for those just learning how to best use paid social media. This session aims to show & tell features and experiments worth trying across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google and TikTok as your one-stop shop to better performing paid ads. 2017 Planning: Using Attention-Based Marketing to Boost ConversionMarketo
For modern marketers, attention is everything. Cat videos and Kim and Kanye are stealing it and, as a marketer, you need to earn it back and retain it. Join this webinar to learn how RES, a Gartner “Cool Vendor” for 2015, is meeting their goal of growing Sales Accepted Leads by making a simple change to how they serve up their content—without spending more on creating or promoting it. RES fights hard for the attention of their prospects, but they wanted to empower buyers to consume as much content as possible to make them more sales-ready faster. Hear how RES upgraded their nurture, content syndication, and welcome programs to deliver all the content an engaged prospect might want in a single session.
As a marketer you know not all leads are the same. With the dollars you have to spend, it is critical to attract and market to buyers that will be the best fit for your business and not waste money on accounts that have low return or ultimately churn. Account-based marketing is a useful strategy that will help you achieve the right business outcomes by targeting specific high-yield accounts. But how do you get started and what really matters?

Growth Without the Guesswork: Measuring ROI Beyond Commercial SalesFalcon.io
Some folks may think that an immediate bump in sales revenue is the only way to gauge the ROI of a marketing campaign. Of course, measuring the results of any campaign is more complex than simply tracking conversions. The real key to success lies in making sure to understand the value of less obvious metrics. How does one quantify brand awareness, brand purpose, influencer marketing or content marketing and do you even need to? Unfortunately, unlike other marketing techniques, there's no quick and simple way to gauge the success of such a marketing approach. The metrics involved in this new type of advertising are still mostly a mystery to many businesses. Without proper parameters, there's no way to tell how well a campaign did. This session will focus on the methods you can use to show the ROI of your work when it’s not as apparent to some. You'll learn:
How to assess your ROI from a non-monetary perspective
How to prove the value of influencer marketing
How to set up hypotheses, test them and learn

We're at the end of 2012 and it has become clear that the mobile app economy is leaving the vast majority of developers out in the cold. The revenue story is lopsided -- a handful of apps have turned into gold mines, but most of them are still standing in the river with a pan hoping for a stray nugget.
With over a million apps in existence, simply building your app does not mean that users will come. In this talk you'll learn how to use customer relationship management, analytics and marketing tools to turn your app into a full fledged business.
We'll start with a discussion of the many facets of analytics spanning from macro trends in the app stores all the way down to the demographics and actions of your individual users. You'll then learn about how to use customer relationship management tools collect and analyze that data in order to execute on marketing campaigns to engage, grow and monetize your user base.

Digital Marketing ROI: Which Half of My Digital Is Working?David Rogers
Amidst a slew of data from new digital tools, even successful marketers find it hard to know "which half of my marketing is working?" – or to explain to the CFO where they should next invest in digital and why. Instead of searching for a universal ROI solution, marketers need to think strategically about their own customers' path to purchase. By linking audience, engagement, and financial impact to their key business objectives, they can build a model that ensures marketing will matter for their business in the digital age.

Conference attendance yields the obvious benefits of learning, lead generation, and sales, but a lot of companies miss opportunities for content creation and amplification. Similar to breaking news, conferences are current, are mentioned in numerous articles and other types of online content, and tend to generate popular search trends.
Creating content centered on the time leading up to the event, the actual days of the event itself, and even the wind-down period can lead to increased recognition, sharing, and many other sought-after benefits.
