2. INTRODUCTION
❖ Opportunity is a certified lead.
❖ Odoo helps you to convert a lead into an opportunity and assign them to the correct sales
reps.
❖ One can activate this mode from the CRM Settings.
❖ If you already have an opportunity with a client Odoo will automatically offer you to
converge with that opportunity.
❖ When you click on a Lead, you will have the choice to change over it to an opportunity and
decide if it should even now be doled out to a similar channel/person and if you need to
make another client

3. ❖ First of all open CRM module to view My Pipeline.

4. ❖ User can directly create new Opportunity from here.

5. ❖ Then goto Configuration > Settings.

6. ❖ Enable Leads option and SAVE.

7. ❖ A new Leads menu will be added.Open Leads.

8. ❖ All leads are listed here.Then click CREATE.

9. ❖ Give essential details and SAVE lead.

10. ❖ Then click CONVERT TO OPPORTUNITY button.

11. ❖ There are 2 options for conversion.Select Convert to opportunity.

12. ❖ There are 3 options for customer.Choose a customer if it is Link to an existing
Customer. Then click Create Opportunity.

13. ❖ An Opportunity is created in New state.Then user can either create New Quotation,
Mark won or Mark lost.

14. ❖ The second option is to merge with existing Leads.For that create a new
Opportunity and save.

15. ❖ Click Convert to opportunity.

16. ❖ Select Merge with existing opportunities. Then Click Add a line.

17. ❖ This list all opportunities. Select the Opportunities to merge with and click Select.

18. ❖ Click Create Opportunity.

19. ❖ The new merged Opportunity is created.
