2. INTRODUCTION
❖ Odoo 14 brings up a new feature in Accounting to automatically group
accounts in the Chart of Accounts.
❖ This is really an amazing feature which users will appreciate as we don’t
have to manually assign a group inside the account configuration.

3. ❖ In Accounting before we use to group account manually. By adding account groups
created in the configuration inside the form.
❖ But now in Odoo 14. we only need to create an account group and configuration
and specify code range.
❖ So that accounts having code range within that range will belong to that group. I.e.,
the group will be assigned to those account automatically.

4. ❖ Go to -> Accounting -> Configuration -> Chart of accounts.

5. ❖ We are not adding group from here manually.

6. ❖ Go to -> Configuration -> Account group -> create.
❖ In this, we have to set account group name, Code prefix from and to, and company.

7.  Get back to Chart Account, we can see Accounts having code within that range is
assigned with that group, So automatically the groups are assigned to these account.
