● In this slide, we will discuss about how to configure rental
product as well as rental periods and how to use it inside a
rental order.

For that open Rental module.

First let’s open rental module here you have the product section
under products, here you can see all Rental products.

● Next we can take a look into how to create a new Rental
product.
● Here you have an ‘Can be Rented’ Checkbox, so once you
check it what happens is that the product which you are
creating will become a rental product.

● There is a new tab ‘Rental Prices’, this is the place where we can
configure the price of the rental product.
● Here there is a reservation section, here we can configure the
price that is, once you take an extra hour you have to pay this
amount and extra day charges.
● In the Security Time you have to specify how many hours before
you need to return the product, in order to make the product
temporarily unavailable before the picking.
● In the ‘Pricing’ section, we can configure the Rental Period, Price
List and Price of the product.

● From the ‘Rental Period’ menu under the ‘Configuration’ we can simply
configure new rental periods.

rental period and also need to update the rental price by clicking
