that will last.
It is far easier to get an existing
customer to purchase from you
again that it is to make that first
sale.
If you are building the right kind of
relationship with your customer
then making repeat sales
becomes much easier and
requires less effort than the very
first sale.

Therefore you really should focus
on how to build the right kind of
relationship with your customers.
Here are some tips:
Always be yourself
The only way that you can be
consistent with your values and
beliefs is to be yourself.
Therefore it is really important that
you be yourself rather than copy
someone else because being
inconsistent is a quick way to send
away customers.
Automation
Being available to reply to your
customers requests is extremely
important and with an online business
will definitely set you apart from your
competition.

Therefore it is a good idea to free up
your time so that you are able to do
that and provide a personal response.
One way to do this is to have a
look at areas of your business
where you could automate it and
therefore free up your own time.
Quick response
One of the things that customers love
is getting a quick response when
making query about something.
If you are able to provide this and also
provide it personally you will really
stand out and be adding real value to
your customers.
Feedback
Obtaining feedback from your
customers after they have purchased
something sends a clear message that
you value your customer.
Therefore following up after sales is
something that you should always do.
When you receive feedback
make sure you take any action
that is necessary to improve your
business.
Refunds
You should always offer some form
of guarantee when someone
purchases a product from you
and if someone requests a refund
afterwards you should do so
promptly.
Adding value for free
Customers love to receive things
for free so make sure that you
regularly give out free advice and
tips.
Over deliver
Have you ever ordered something
and when it arrived there were
extra helpful items included?
If you have experienced this you
know that it really makes you
appreciate that particular
company.
They have delivered what you
have requested and also added
extra as a surprise.
It is far better to under promise
and then over deliver.
