Do You Have Unfinished
Products?
I am going to discuss why many people start
to create a product but never finish it.
I shall then suggest what you can do about
it so that you can move forward.
Many people like the idea of creating
their own products and initially they
get stuck in and spend quality time
producing that product.
However, they get distracted during
the process and then the product
never gets finished.
Here are some examples of how
you might get distracted:
Graphics
Perhaps you want to add some
graphics to your sales page or
create an e-book cover.
So you go online looking for
inspiration and while doing so you
come across a shiny object and
you get distracted.
Sales copy
Perhaps you come to writing the
sales letter and you want to
improve your sales copy so you
have a look online for some tips
and advice on writing copy.
While doing so you are given the
opportunity to download a free e-
book about sales copy so you
take advantage of that offer.
You start to read the e-book and
the person whose list you are now
on, starts to send you some emails
that you like.
Before you know it you have been
distracted from writing your sales
letter and are given the
opportunity to purchase
something that is going to make
your life easy so you buy it.
Your product never gets finished.
Perfection
Maybe you have started creating your
product and halfway through you go
back to check to make sure it reads
well or you watch the video to make
sure it has come out well.
You notice little things that you are not
happy with and decide to tweak that.
You then go back and check it again.
Weeks go by, months go by and your
product never gets finished because
you are too busy making it perfect.
In the end you give up because you
believe product creation just takes too
long.
Get it done
Let me ask you some questions.
What would have been best, to
launch a product without a graphic or
to have no launch at all?
To be able to offer people a product
with a sales page that might need
tweaking or to offer nothing?
To promote a product that has a few
grammatical errors in but is quality
information or to have nothing to
promote?
If you are working on a product then
don't do anything else until that
product is finished, the sales pages
done, and the system is in place for
people to be able to buy.
You can always go back later and
tweak things and improve things but if
you have nothing to offer people then
they will go elsewhere and you have
lost the opportunity to have a
customer.

  • 1. Do You Have Unfinished Products?
  • 2. I am going to discuss why many people start to create a product but never finish it. I shall then suggest what you can do about it so that you can move forward.
  • 3. Many people like the idea of creating their own products and initially they get stuck in and spend quality time producing that product. However, they get distracted during the process and then the product never gets finished.
  • 4. Here are some examples of how you might get distracted:
  • 5. Graphics Perhaps you want to add some graphics to your sales page or create an e-book cover. So you go online looking for inspiration and while doing so you come across a shiny object and you get distracted.
  • 6. Sales copy Perhaps you come to writing the sales letter and you want to improve your sales copy so you have a look online for some tips and advice on writing copy.
  • 7. While doing so you are given the opportunity to download a free e- book about sales copy so you take advantage of that offer.
  • 8. You start to read the e-book and the person whose list you are now on, starts to send you some emails that you like.
  • 9. Before you know it you have been distracted from writing your sales letter and are given the opportunity to purchase something that is going to make your life easy so you buy it. Your product never gets finished.
  • 10. Perfection Maybe you have started creating your product and halfway through you go back to check to make sure it reads well or you watch the video to make sure it has come out well.
  • 11. You notice little things that you are not happy with and decide to tweak that. You then go back and check it again.
  • 12. Weeks go by, months go by and your product never gets finished because you are too busy making it perfect. In the end you give up because you believe product creation just takes too long.
  • 13. Get it done Let me ask you some questions. What would have been best, to launch a product without a graphic or to have no launch at all?
  • 14. To be able to offer people a product with a sales page that might need tweaking or to offer nothing?
  • 15. To promote a product that has a few grammatical errors in but is quality information or to have nothing to promote?
  • 16. If you are working on a product then don't do anything else until that product is finished, the sales pages done, and the system is in place for people to be able to buy.
  • 17. You can always go back later and tweak things and improve things but if you have nothing to offer people then they will go elsewhere and you have lost the opportunity to have a customer.
