Glass is made by melting a mixture of sand, soda ash, and limestone at around 1700 degrees Celsius, with sand as the main ingredient. The mixture turns into a molten liquid that can be shaped into various objects before being cooled to harden into glass. Limestone is added to enhance the strength and durability of the final product.

2. Ingredients to make glass and their
uses
 Glass is made by melting together a mix of sand
,soda ash ,and limestone at extremely high
temperature – around 1700 degrees Celsius . all
the three ingredients are raw means natural
materials Sand is the main ingredient, and soda
ash helps lower the melting point so that less
energy is needed .Limestone is added to make
the glass more Stronger and more durable.

3. Process of making glass
When heated in a furnace it turns into a very hot molten liquid
 This hot liquid can then be changed into things like glass, bottle or
window 🪟
 This liquid is picked up by a stick and dipped into ice cold water
making it easier to shape
 Then the liquid is put into molds to shape it in things like windows
 Once It cools down ,the molten liquid hardens into Glass
 Sometimes ,other Materials are added to change the color or
any properties of the glass ,like making it stronger so it doesn’t
break
