 Forthe front cover
 of my pop
 magazine, I chose
 my friend to pose         Put effort
 for me, as she is         into hair and
                           appearance
 stereotypical of the
 pop group.
           Nails painted



                      Dressed up and
                      fashionable
I  chose to have my
  shoot in front of a
  white/beige wall as
  it was bright, and
  gave me access to
  use more colours.
 Also, whenever I
  think of pop, I think
  of bright colours and
  ones that stand out.
  So this related to my
  chosen genre.
   I used the same person
    throughout my
    magazine, as I thought
    she truly represented the
    “pop” social group. I
    made sure in this picture
    that she looked like a
    typical pop artist by
    dressing her casual, but
    still fashionable.
   In the picture, she still
    has her make-up, hair
    and nails done. This and
    also the pose she is
    doing, is what I thought
    would be a typical pop
    artist.
   I insured the
    poses that she
    did, make her
    look like a pop
    artist, by
    researching
    photos of present
    artists.
 When  I started planning the magazine, my
 target audience was male and females aged
 between 15-25. I feel the model that I have
 used for the magazine, and the way I have
 laid out and designed it, fits well into this
 categorization, and therefore I think that my
 magazine supports dominant ideas towards
 my social group.
