• Two news posts, talking about making
  £105,000. That’s no small amount of money,
  so why has no one liked it and no one tweeted
  about it?
Simple Things Can Make Big
        Differences
The picture before was a screenshot of Oxfam’s
Facebook page, each arrow represents something
that WJR’s Facebook page doesn’t have at the
moment. These are:

1. A big cover photo with happy children.
2. A detailed description
3. Links so people can directly find out about jobs,
   shop and donate to Oxfam straight from the
   Facebook page.

It needs one, so what do we put in it to make people want to get
involved?

•A message to the visitors something along the lines of ‘If you get
involved even in the smallest way, through us you are quite literally
and without exaggeration, changing the world.’

•A message to visitors explaining what they will do as a Campaigner.
Something like ‘As a campaigner you will be our voice in the outside
world, spreading our message and encouraging people to get involved
and make a difference.’

  • 1. How Do Other Charities and Campaigning Websites Get People Involved?
  • 2. Problems • Two news posts, talking about making £105,000. That’s no small amount of money, so why has no one liked it and no one tweeted about it?
  • 3. Simple Things Can Make Big Differences
  • 4. The picture before was a screenshot of Oxfam’s Facebook page, each arrow represents something that WJR’s Facebook page doesn’t have at the moment. These are: 1. A big cover photo with happy children. 2. A detailed description 3. Links so people can directly find out about jobs, shop and donate to Oxfam straight from the Facebook page.

WJR’s ‘Campaign With WJR’ Website Section It needs one, so what do we put in it to make people want to get involved? •A message to the visitors something along the lines of ‘If you get involved even in the smallest way, through us you are quite literally and without exaggeration, changing the world.’ •A message to visitors explaining what they will do as a Campaigner. Something like ‘As a campaigner you will be our voice in the outside world, spreading our message and encouraging people to get involved and make a difference.’
