can’t spread from one organism to
another.

4. INFECTIOUS DISEASE
Any disease that is caused by a pathogen
(a microbe that causes disease).

person to person?
• How quickly does the contagion multiply once it
is inside the human body?

6. CONTAGION
Another name for an infectious disease. They can
be passed from one person to another.
