Creative critical reflection question three- How did your production skills develop throughout this project?

2. CREATIVITY AND WRITING SKILLS
Coming to think of it now, not only my creativity and writing skills increased, my communication and
teamwork skill also increased during the past few months.
I have always like to imagine multiple stories in my head and write some short stories since a child. I am
fascinated by how each of the stories could be told in the people in such an interesting way no matter
which form it is in whether it is in movie, music or texts. However, I never taken them out to work further
and left them sit there and be forgotten.
Now that I have a chance to brought my story to life in this project, I am more excited than I have ever
be. Unfortunately, I have no experience in making film so there are a lot of process that I need to gone
through.

3. Planning is one of the essential skills that I have developed. I have learned that the story need to make
sense and need to give something back to the audience after they have watched it. So I need to plan the
story to make sure that they are good enough before I could write them. My friend and I also planned on
the schedule to make sure that we could summit our work on time too.
There are many stories that I have thought of during the process of production but not all of them could
make it to the final production. I need to adapt some of my stories in order to make it suite our purpose of
the film and reflect something upon our society nowadays.

4. Apart from that, I need to have an eye for detail in our film opening because everything have a meaning in
our film. We have to make sure that the background is clear and such. I have to be careful in our
background and add a little detail to make our story develop further.
Acting skill is one of the skill that I have never expect to use but since our group does not have many
people. So I am the one that need to be the actress. I need to get myself into the situation and self-insert
myself into our main character to make sure that I could express the feeling of our protagonist to the
audience. So I need to exactly feel like the character feel at that moment of filming. It was hard at first but
after many attempts, I succeeded.

5. TEAM WORK AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS
In term of group, I improved my communication and teamwork skill. Since each of us are different, we
need to be able to communicate and get our opinion through to be able to get our work done. At first,
there are some difficulties for me to express my thoughts. But, as time pass, I began to speak out my mind
as I learned that if we don’t talk, we won’t get the work done. So we need to speak our mind and continue
to work on. Because we are in such a small group, if we have conflict that wouldn’t be good. So I need to
be careful wit my words and sometimes keep my dissatisfaction inside and seek for the best solution
instead as we continue to work with our production.

6. As a result, dealing with people is another skill that I acquire because sometimes our group disagree
with each other. We need to find the best solution to the problems in term of team with out getting into
conflict with one another. I manages to communicate with different people with different perspective. This
could help me to build up skills that I need to be prepare for the future where I will meet many different
teammates in the future.
There are a lot of issues that happen during our production process. We need to have problem-solving
skill and adaptability to solve there issues because sometimes we could not get things go as planned. For
example, during filming, we changed some of the storyboard scene since we could not film it at that
moment because technical issues such as lighting or that we changes our story and storyboard sometimes
because of time limit. However, we still tried to work our best for our production.

7. I may not have the best team in the world but I do have the team that are willing to support me and
listen to my idea while , in exchange, I also listen to theirs too and we worked out for the best idea by
discussion which I think is an important ability that are needed for working well together as a team.
