Launched on 25 June 2015 by Hon’ble Prime Minister of India.
Aims to provide Housing for all by 2022. 22 Million units.
Coverage all 4041 statutory towns in 3 phases.
Beneficiaries – EWS & LIG categories.
EWS: family with income upto rs 3 lakh.
LIG: family with income upto rs 3-6 lakh.
4. Development of Smart Cities is a step in that direction.
The Smart Cities Mission is an innovative and new initiative by the Government of India to drive economic growth
and improve the quality of life of people by enabling local development and harnessing technology as a means to
