2. Genre
 For our web based drama we are going to be
using the horror genre.
 Through blaze studios we have had previous
experience within this genre.
 The growing popularity of horror is mainly due to
the fact that original ideas such as Bram Stokers
Dracula have been modified to a soft core version
of itself creating things such as Twilight, which
merges with other genres, taking their audience
and captivating them with more progressed
versions of horror.

3. USP
The unique selling point of our web based
horror series is that the entire series is told
from the killers P.O.V with minimal scenes
from the victims P.O.V. This is something that
has never been done before so we believe that
it will be highly effective.

4. Story Line
 After some initial brain storming we have decided to base our horror
web drama on a TV series called “Criminal Minds”. With this as our
inspiration we came up with the story of a paranormal serial killer.
 After being harshly rejected John commits suicide, to end his
torment but life isn't done with him yet. Returning from the dead he
seeks revenge on his former lover however being unable to find her
his fragile state of minds targets other women that resemble her
instead. Stalking his victims and torturing them with the fear of the
unknown he wreaks havoc on the innocent women of Hertfordshire.
Innocent Amy has no idea who sent her dead flowers the other day
nor who’s been silently watching and following her home for the
past two nights, is she starting to lose her mind…. Or is there
someone there?

5. Location
 During the opening of our episode we are going to have an establishing
scene to ensure the viewer knows what is going on within the story, this
could be done through a variety of ways however for example a group of
students gossiping in excited fear of the recent suicide, or the strange
killings.
 It could be done with a news report scene where a reporter lists some facts
on the killings etc however this shall be decided with a “polleverywhere”.
 One of the locations that we are considering for part of our web based
horror is a rural area of farm land that has a small pathway for pedestrians
leading onto a large bridge over a busy motorway (local - this location shall
be used for the scene where the victim is innocently making her way home
from class in the late winter).
 Another location that we have looked at is a home scene where the killer is
torturing his victim, the bathroom is one of the house scenes that we are
going to use as the room is a classic convention of any decent horror/crime.
 The bedroom of the house will be a potential for our final scene when the
killer makes his move and finishes the job.

7. Actors
For our actors we have decided to hold open
auditions so that anyone and everyone can turn
up however we may try and focus on any
actors with drama studio experience so as to
ensure quality performances, we feel that this
would be the best choice as they will work for
recognition rather than a salary which is ideal
due to the low budget of the web series.

8. How we are going Viral!
 To get our series viral our marketing members are focusing
on getting major bloggers on YouTube and Facebook etc to
start a buzz about our series. Bloggers such as this have a
very high marketing powers with very large and varying
audiences which ensures the attraction of an audience that
isn't necessarily part of our original target market.
 News breaks first almost always on Twitter, so we will pay
attention to trending keywords and hash tags. Hash tags and
keywords is important for our content to get discovered.
Keeping in mind that people are typing in keywords and
phrases to search for stuff, so we want our content to come
up in the results.
 A lot of social media campaigns make good use of contests
and giveaways to keep their current audience engaged and
attract new people.
