The International Project Management Committee (IPMC): - Was established in 2010 by space agencies, companies, and organizations to share experiences and best practices in space project management globally. - Includes members from agencies like NASA, ESA, JAXA, CNES, and DLR who meet twice yearly and by video/phone to exchange information and coordinate activities. - Aims to organize events on project management topics, cooperate with other groups, and conduct studies to improve the field internationally. Recent work included evolving the NASA International Project Management course and participating in industry conferences. Upcoming, the group will help with a lessons learned workshop and adapt their course for broader use.
