Yes, exactly. It was all of those things. This was a very simple example of the difference between reading a print book and reading an e-book. And kids LOVE it.
We have quite a few things to share today so let’s begin. This session will demonstrate how to use free online sources to create e-books that can be read and even written and shared immediately via hand-held digital devices such as SmartPhones, tablets, and e-readers, and introduce resources such as Ulukau and Ka`iwakiloumoku, and applications like, iBooks and StoryKit . Story Kit is a free app from The International Children’s Digital Library (childrenslibrary.org) that allows the user to create a story combining pictures, text and audio.
