Class Cards (Android/iOS; paid) – Class Cards is an easy-to-use yet extremely effective app for
boosting student engagement during lessons and discussions. Based on the book written by the same

Class Dojo (website/Android/iOS; free) – Class Dojo is a classroom tool that helps teachers
improve behavior in their classrooms quickly and easily. It also captures and generates data on
behavior that teachers can share with parents and administrators. Allows for shared classes/classes

Digital Citizenship by Common Sense Media (website; free) – Free digital citizenship
curriculum materials that are designed to empower students to think critically, behave safely, and
participate responsibly in our digital world. You now can access our K-12 curriculum in two ways:

Digital Passport by Common Sense Media (website/Android/iOS; free) - Web-based games
and videos engage 3rd - 5th graders in independent learning. Modules zero in on critical skills related

Dropbox (website/Android/iOS; free) - Dropbox is a free service that lets you bring all your
photos, docs, and videos anywhere. After you install Dropbox on your computer, any file you save to
your Dropbox will automatically save to all your computers, your Android device, and even the
Dropbox website! With the Dropbox app, you can take everything that matters to you on the go.
Requires software to be installed on computer as well as app on your mobile device.

Edmodo (website/Android/iOS; free) - Edmodo is designed to get students excited about
learning in a familiar environment. On Edmodo, teachers can continue classroom discussions online,
give polls to check for student understanding, and award badges to individual students based on

Evernote (website/Android/iOS; free) – Evernote makes it easy to remember things big and
small from your everyday life using your computer, phone, tablet and the web. Save documents,

Graphite by Common Sense Media (website; free) – Graphite™ is a free service from nonprofit
Common Sense Media designed to help preK-12 educators discover, use, and share the best apps,

Kids Timer (Android; free) – A digital version of the Time Timer, a visual timer that allows kids to

Shelves (Android; free) – Shelves is an Android application that manages your collection of board
games, books, comics, gadgets, movies, music, software, tools, toys, and video games. With Shelves,
you can add items in a number of ways: by scanning barcodes, from the Internet, or by entering
details manually. You can also import and export data from a variety of sources, including Google
Books, Google Drive, BoardGameGeeks.com, or Shelfari. There’s also full support for software such

TeamViewer (Android/iOS; free for personal use) – TeamViewer allows you to use your tablet as
a remote for your computer. A great tool for getting out from behind a laptop and in front of the
