rest of the team, who had never experienced the pressure of running in a state championship
could run over a minute faster than they had all year, we were unlikely to finish in first place.

about the fight, the Boys were taken into custody. Then two white girls that were on the train
accused the black youths of rape and they were officially arrested. The story of the Scottsboro Boys
is one of cruelty, neglect, and lies in the Jim Crow south. This is how the story of the Scottsboro
Boys begin. March 25, 1931 four African American boys jumped on a freight car in
Chattanooga, TN. The boys names were Haywood Patterson, Eugene Williams, Roy and Andy

Rouge Regime caused a smaller scale genocide in the heart of Cambodia. Beginning in the late
1960s the Khmer RougeRegime came into power. Their leader Pol Pot committed atrocities,
killing a little over two million innocent people. Pol Pot believed that this new society was
becoming evil. He decided to bring the city of Phnom Penh back to the middle ages with
communal farming. He murdered every intellectual of the country. He killed anyone who had
any education, or even worse, glasses. He isolated the city and everybody in it. There are many
stories coming from the victim s point of view and how they felt as 2.2 million of their own were
killed. There are also reasons of why the Cambodian government s committed this atrocity. Finally,
