An average student became the second greatest scientist in the world. At age 21, he was given two years to live but proved medical science wrong. He exposed many secrets of the universe from his wheelchair. He was born in Oxford in 1942 and was not interested in studies early on. He got his early education from St. Albans School and was admitted to Oxford University at age 17, where he became interested in physics and cosmology. He was diagnosed with motor neuron disease at age 21 and became fully dependent on a wheelchair. He studied at Cambridge University and they designed a special talking computer for him. He wrote influential books on his theories of the Big Bang, black holes, and more.
