This document discusses steganography, the art of secret communication by embedding messages in cover images without noticeable alterations. It evaluates two techniques: the Least Significant Bit (LSB) method and a combination of LSB with Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) and encryption, analyzing their effectiveness using Mean Square Error (MSE) and Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR). The methods aim to enhance the security and capacity of data hiding techniques in digital images.
