What are your thoughts on an open vs. site-secured environment?
What’s your organizational philosophy on sharing constituent information?
Why did your organization choose to follow that philosophy? How did that philosophy come about? Especially for those of you that had multiple databases coming in to one.
In that shared environment, how are certain business processes managed – such as, assigning project managers, or updating life changes on a constituent record? Who makes the update when data is shared across several entities?
In a situation where a constituent is already being actively managed by a gift officer, and another gift officer at one of the foundations approaches a donor with a proposal without following the proper procedures to do so – how would your organization manage a situation like that?
