HFLE (Health and Family Life Education) teaches life skills to empower students and promote their social, cognitive, and emotional development. It seeks to prevent risky behaviors like drug use and unsafe sex through competencies in decision making, stress management, self-awareness, and other skills. Research shows HFLE can improve academic performance and social adjustment while creating a healthy school environment. The goals are to enable students to apply knowledge, develop attitudes to promote their own and others' health, and empower them to make positive choices.
