Democracy allows citizens to have an equal say in decisions through direct participation or elected representatives. It creates social, economic, and cultural conditions for equal self-determination. However, development presents challenges as tribal communities prioritize cheaper costs of living and cultural traditions, while educated youth sometimes struggle with unemployment and a lack of purpose. There is a need to balance the dreams of the rich with the means of the poor to prevent greed and right social inequities.
