The Tampere City Library in Finland has embraced the concept of an information society accessible to all, launching initiatives like the 'netti-nysse', an internet bus that provides free access to technology and training for residents. This project aims to bridge the digital divide by offering personalized instruction and fostering community engagement, particularly for those lacking basic computer skills. Over six years of operation, the internet bus has successfully served diverse groups, promoting digital literacy and encouraging participants to continue their learning journey beyond initial exposure.
