1. Where is it?
Use there is / there are
• to say that something exists.
Ex: There is a TV in the living room.
• to talk about places and things and people in places.
Ex: There are five cats in the garden.
Ex: There is a swimming pool in my school.
EXAMPLES:
There is a kitchen. There isn’t a toilet upstairs.
There are two bathrooms. There aren’t any windows in my room.
Is there a computer in your room? Yes, there is.
Are there any chairs in your room? No, there aren’t.
