Skills Audit – Review your strengths and weaknesses and confidence in the following areas: Project Management I am good at planning and separating projects into manageable parts to meet a deadline however my weakness is I don’t follow the plans. Research and Ideas Generation I’m good at generating ideas because I have a creative imagination. I’m good at research too because once I know what I’m looking for, I always keep an eye out for things related wherever I go. Online research is no problem. Drawing Techniques My drawing is very good and I’ve been taught techniques and ways to better my drawing since a very young age. However if I had to point out a weakness It would be drawing on grids. I find it hard to stick to tight symmetrical grids. Adobe Photoshop After passing level 2 using Photoshop I am very confident using this software. The only weakness I have with Photoshop is that I cannot work with this software when it is updated. Adobe Illustrator I’m not as confident as I am at photoshop when I use illustrator however I am able to use. My weakness would be my lack of confidence which leads me to question if I can or not make certain things. NewTek LightWave - Modeler I am confident using Modeler. Assignment Structure – Ask yourself the following questions: Are you clear about the timescale available? Yes Do you understand what elements of the unit are being assessed? Yes Do you understand the scenario and the reasons for carrying out the assignment? Yes Have you visited the Second Life community and the SL Market Place? What are your impressions?
