The debate over the implementation of Goods and Services Tax (GST) has been tiresomely long.
GST is a critical reform in spurring growth in the Indian economy.
When it is introduced, GST is expected to make the tax system simpler and will also help in increased compliance, boost tax revenues, reduce the tax outflow in the hands of the consumers and make exports competitive. The new government will hopefully set forth a roadmap for the implementation of GST soon.
Today’s lesson on GST attempts to simplify this concept for you.
GST stands for "Goods and Services Tax." Implemented in the year of 2017 to bracket taxes across the country under one tax name, it is now very prominent that one should have themselves registered under GST requirements to do any sort of business. One should know that only a professional can provide compliance to an individual or a business.
How to Make E-KYC ( Aadhaar Based ) Digital SignatureAbhishek Porwal
This Presentation defines the whole procedure of Issuance of Digital Signature using Aadhaar Number. E-KYC (Aadhaar) based Digital Signature is a very simple and subscriber friendly procedure of issuing Digital Signature. In this the subscriber is not required to get the DSC documents attested by a Gazetted Officer, banker or a Post Master.
Information Technology Act, 2000 provides for use of Digital Signatures on the documents submitted in electronic form in order to ensure the security and authenticity of the documents filed electronically. This is the only secure and authentic way that a document can be submitted electronically.
As e-filing is made compulsory in ROC, every director / signing authority needs to have their Digital Signature Certificate. It’s now mandatory to obtain Class-2 or Class-2 with PAN Digital Signature Certificate for any person who is required to sign manual documents and returns filed with ROC as per MCA21. Also an Individual is required to obtain Class-2 DSC with PAN for e-filing his return with Income Tax, India. Thus, Digital Signature Certificate to be obtained for:
• Issuing TDS / TCS forms and license
• Filing tax returns online
• Online Government orders/treasury orders
• Online file movement system
• Public information records
• E-voting
• Railway reservations & ticketing
• E-education
• Online money orders

Responsibilities of the office bearers while registering multi-state cooperat...Finlaw Consultancy Pvt Ltd
Introduction-
The process of register multi-state cooperative society in India is governed by the Multi-State Co-operative Societies Act, 2002. This process requires the office bearers to undertake several crucial responsibilities to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks. The key office bearers typically include the President, Secretary, and Treasurer, along with other elected members of the managing committee. Their responsibilities encompass administrative, legal, and financial duties essential for the successful registration and operation of the society.
In 2020, the Ministry of Home Affairs established a committee led by Prof. (Dr.) Ranbir Singh, former Vice Chancellor of National Law University (NLU), Delhi. This committee was tasked with reviewing the three codes of criminal law. The primary objective of the committee was to propose comprehensive reforms to the country’s criminal laws in a manner that is both principled and effective.
The committee’s focus was on ensuring the safety and security of individuals, communities, and the nation as a whole. Throughout its deliberations, the committee aimed to uphold constitutional values such as justice, dignity, and the intrinsic value of each individual. Their goal was to recommend amendments to the criminal laws that align with these values and priorities.
Subsequently, in February, the committee successfully submitted its recommendations regarding amendments to the criminal law. These recommendations are intended to serve as a foundation for enhancing the current legal framework, promoting safety and security, and upholding the constitutional principles of justice, dignity, and the inherent worth of every individual.
