World Environment Day is an environment programme run by the United Nations. Every year June 5 is observed as World Environment Day. As the name suggests this day is observed to create awareness about various ways to protect the nature. There are many NGOs that directly work towards environment protection but there are charities like Akshaya Patra who implement green initiatives while working towards its primary cause of providing mid-day meal.
The Go Green Initiative is the global leader in environmental education. The program is FREE to all schools, and offers a comprehensive approach to creating a "culture of conservation" on campus.

Water Pollution Essay Project
What is water pollution?
Pollution is a term used to define sources that enter into the natural environment and that are poisonous or harmful for the environment. Water pollution includes the sources that pollute the water "with chemicals or other foreign substances that are detrimental to the human, plant, or animal health" ("Water Pollution," 2020). Several types of pollutants enter into the water, such as fertilizers and pesticides, which are mainly agricultural runoffs, and these contaminate the water. Many times chemicals, food waste, metals in small parts form, and industrial waste pollute the water and creates water pollution. The contaminated or polluted water is harmful to human health as they require clean drinking water for their survival. Unfortunately, more than 2 billion people around the world do not have access to clean drinking water, and they drink contaminated water that is harmful to the health of humans ("Water Pollution," 2020).
Why is it an important issue?
More than 70 percent of the world is water, and it is considered the most crucial resource for human survival ("The biggest Water Pollution Guide," 2020). Due to water pollution, not only is the water contaminated with harmful chemicals, which, of course, makes it dangerous for drinking. It could harm human health, and inside the oceans, if the water is contaminated, it affects marine life negatively as well. All life forms cannot survive without it. Clean drinking water is required, and due to an increased rate of water pollution, many countries today are facing issues on how to tackle this global problem. Animals and plants are affected as well because they like humans, and aliens can never survive without it.
Who should know about water pollution?
Water pollution is a severe issue that needs to solved with the utmost urgency. Nations of the world need to take action so that effects will not increase in the future. Water-borne diseases account for the deaths of 3,575,000 people a year! That's equivalent to a jumbo jet crashing every hour" ("Is Your Water Clean?", 2020). These statistics give you the idea that water pollution is dangerous and destructive for human health. That is why everyone, including the governments of the world, should learn ...

"Understanding the Carbon Cycle: Processes, Human Impacts, and Strategies for...MMariSelvam4
The carbon cycle is a critical component of Earth's environmental system, governing the movement and transformation of carbon through various reservoirs, including the atmosphere, oceans, soil, and living organisms. This complex cycle involves several key processes such as photosynthesis, respiration, decomposition, and carbon sequestration, each contributing to the regulation of carbon levels on the planet.
Human activities, particularly fossil fuel combustion and deforestation, have significantly altered the natural carbon cycle, leading to increased atmospheric carbon dioxide concentrations and driving climate change. Understanding the intricacies of the carbon cycle is essential for assessing the impacts of these changes and developing effective mitigation strategies.
By studying the carbon cycle, scientists can identify carbon sources and sinks, measure carbon fluxes, and predict future trends. This knowledge is crucial for crafting policies aimed at reducing carbon emissions, enhancing carbon storage, and promoting sustainable practices. The carbon cycle's interplay with climate systems, ecosystems, and human activities underscores its importance in maintaining a stable and healthy planet.
In-depth exploration of the carbon cycle reveals the delicate balance required to sustain life and the urgent need to address anthropogenic influences. Through research, education, and policy, we can work towards restoring equilibrium in the carbon cycle and ensuring a sustainable future for generations to come.

UNDERSTANDING WHAT GREEN WASHING IS!.pdfJulietMogola
Many companies today use green washing to lure the public into thinking they are conserving the environment but in real sense they are doing more harm. There have been such several cases from very big companies here in Kenya and also globally. This ranges from various sectors from manufacturing and goes to consumer products. Educating people on greenwashing will enable people to make better choices based on their analysis and not on what they see on marketing sites.

The objective of this work is to contribute to valorization de Nephelium lappaceum by the characterization of kinetics of drying of seeds of Nephelium lappaceum. The seeds were dehydrated until a constant mass respectively in a drying oven and a microwawe oven. The temperatures and the powers of drying are respectively: 50, 60 and 70°C and 140, 280 and 420 W. The results show that the curves of drying of seeds of Nephelium lappaceum do not present a phase of constant kinetics. The coefficients of diffusion vary between 2.09.10-8 to 2.98. 10-8m-2/s in the interval of 50°C at 70°C and between 4.83×10-07 at 9.04×10-07 m-8/s for the powers going of 140 W with 420 W the relation between Arrhenius and a value of energy of activation of 16.49 kJ. mol-1 expressed the effect of the temperature on effective diffusivity.

2. What is green valentine?
We want to spread this idea of planting trees all day long, throughout
the state and country. If we can plant one tree every good day, we
believe that one day the soil will be less for planting. There are days to
plant trees. But all of them take a step all day to plant the tree. To that
end, we went ahead with the decision to keep this good day as a green

We started the campaign on the 1st February by
creating a social event on our Facebook page. All
our members are spreading the event around. We
then started promoting this event by video
massages. We can understand that our event is
going to succeed from the spread of this video
through many shares, likes and comment on
different social web sites like Facebook, Instagram,
and WhatsApp etc.

13. Our other work
1. Take some time to work with your local school. Local schools need all of the help
that they can get when it comes to figuring out the best way to get kids more interested
in the environment and its care. Help kids learn about the environment by installing a
play garden. These can help children to start to fall in love with nature while also being
a lot of fun and helping them to get their hands a little bit dirty at the same time.
14. 2. Go and enjoy nature in a special way. Go on a hike. Go to the park. Do something
that gets you in touch with nature and that helps to remind you exactly why you’re
going to want to go ahead and put so much time, effort, and energy into what you
have to offer here.
15. Not only environment, work for the poor
