Always concerned about the environmental issues, this Blue campaign is one of my favourite visual communication design projects, opting to create awareness and acting as reminders.
Our oceans are slowly turning into a plastic soup, harming the ecosystem. Two-thirds of it comes straight from land based sources: litter being left on the beach or washed down rivers from litter being dropped in towns and cities.
This campaigns aims to give innovative solutions in three aspects of producing, consuming and disposing plastics. Reduce, reuse and recycle is the key action and caring is the heart of every action to develop a sustainable future.
How can we stop plastic from polluting our most beautiful natural places? From trails to beaches, parks to playgrounds, and even protected areas—plastic is impacting the world’s most revered landscapes.
During the August webinar, we talked about efforts to truly honor nature by keeping plastic pollution out of it, including the campaign to urge U.S. Department of Interior Secretary Haaland to eliminate the sale and use of single-use plastics in U.S. national parks.

The objective of this work is to contribute to valorization de Nephelium lappaceum by the characterization of kinetics of drying of seeds of Nephelium lappaceum. The seeds were dehydrated until a constant mass respectively in a drying oven and a microwawe oven. The temperatures and the powers of drying are respectively: 50, 60 and 70°C and 140, 280 and 420 W. The results show that the curves of drying of seeds of Nephelium lappaceum do not present a phase of constant kinetics. The coefficients of diffusion vary between 2.09.10-8 to 2.98. 10-8m-2/s in the interval of 50°C at 70°C and between 4.83×10-07 at 9.04×10-07 m-8/s for the powers going of 140 W with 420 W the relation between Arrhenius and a value of energy of activation of 16.49 kJ. mol-1 expressed the effect of the temperature on effective diffusivity.

2. A healthy ocean is more than just a beautiful place to visit, our
future literally depends on it!
The air we breathe, the food we eat, the medicine that saves
our lives, all relies on a healthy ocean.
This is important to me on a personal level because I plan to
have children in the near future and I want them to have a
world with all of these things.
4. My personal contributions to the cause

5. Our friends at UN Environment have a plan to bring awareness to the pollution
crisis hurting our largest bodies of water and life on this planet. The
#CleanSeasPhoto campaign is a user-generated social media competition about
marine litter and oceans, and it's a ridiculously easy way for anyone with a
smartphone or a camera to get involved in a global issue. Your time on Instagram
can finally be put to good use.
Over-consumption of non-biodegradable plastic materials is the main culprit of
ocean pollution. At least 8 million tons of plastic wind up in the ocean each year,
not including other kinds of refuse like glass, rubber, ceramics, textiles, wood and
metals. Plastic pollution, in particular, comes from non-recycled packages and
bottles, microbeads in cosmetics and soaps, and plastic bags. Right now, experts
estimate that by 2050 there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish.
