This document describes Green SAB Technology, which uses specially designed artificial units called SAB (Sediment Accumulator in Beach) units to protect soils from erosion in hydraulic environments like beaches, river banks, and around structures. The SAB units dissipate flow energy and allow sediments to accumulate around them, providing a buffer against scouring. The first project implementing this technology was in 2008 at Radisson Blu Temple Bay Beach Resort in India, which recovered the eroded beach. A second project in Gujarat, India was completed in 2015 and also accumulated sediments to develop an artificial beach using SAB units. The technology aims to provide scour protection with minimal disturbance to local environments and allows engineered green space development with trapped
