Gravity and friction

Gravity is a force that pulls everything down to the ground and keeps objects on Earth, though it cannot be seen. Weight measures the strength of gravity's pull on an object, with more massive objects experiencing a stronger pull. Friction is the force that occurs when two objects rub together, causing them to slow down, and can be increased or decreased depending on the materials, with oil reducing friction and rubber or sandpaper increasing it.

Gravity • A type of force that pulls everything down to the ground • You can’t see it but it keeps you on Earth
Weight • It is the measure of the pull of gravity • The more mass an object has the more gravity pulls on it
It is a force happens when two objects rub together cause them to slow down Friction
• Some materials can make the rubbing objects faster , as they make the friction lower • Like oil
Some materials can slow down the rubbing objects , as they make the friction higher Like rubber and sand paper
