Google Hangouts allows for convenient collaboration between students and faculty through real-time video conferencing with features that allow users to cooperate, converse, and connect without needing AV support staff. While a Google+ account is required, setting up Hangouts has a small initial effort that provides benefits like networking, group decision making without delays, and keeping project teams in touch. Questions from attendees about using Hangouts for education were then taken.
